  1. I bought myself a 10 punch card for the fitness studio by my house. It includes TRX, Zumba, turbo kickboxing, Piyo ( Pilates and yoga) and belly dancing. It's a blast!!!!
  2. Even if the date isn't great ( which I'm hoping it will be for you) think of the JOY of shopping of the racks at the malls! Have fun tonight!!!
  3. My surgeon says nothing 30minutes before and 90 minutes after. Hope that helps
  4. Yes- but it brought me a belly laugh!! I needed that! Thank you
  5. The premier chocolate pre made Protein Drinks are tasty. In my humble opinion. It tastes like chocolate milk but no chalky taste. I have not tried the vanilla
  6. Yes!!!! Thank you for understanding. I've been following your story- sounds like you are on the upswing. Positive vibes coming your way
  7. It drives me nuts when people say FUSTRATED instead of frustrated. It frustrates me...tee hee
  8. I use the local high school's pool for laps and their indoor track for walking or jogging. It's free to the district residents.
  9. I had a very successful surgery also!! Sleeved on 9/18/12. Down 69lbs. No nausea or vomiting. Very minimal pain- nothing Tylenol couldn't take away. Started walking for miles about 3 days after surgery. Now I'm doing turbo kickboxing, Piyo ( Pilates and yoga) and muscle conditioning! Things I never thought I'd be able to do. As far as eating I'm not sure if I have a sleeve of Steel or what but I've had no problem with any foods at all. I have noticed my taste buds have changed a bit. Things taste a lot sweeter ( crystal light and such ) so I have to dilute my drinks and Water tastes a but metallic but I'm totally okay with that! Just wanted you to know that there are lots of us here who had a GREAT experience. As much as I can sympathize with those that have complications I can only tell you about my journey which has been completely positive Wishing you the best in whatever your decision -
  10. Curvy J- do you shop at costco? It's delightful!!
  11. My husband booked us a WEEK long trip to Mexico at the end of the month to celebrate my success - Tee hee I just bought a Brazilian wax on groupon for before the trip! Soooo... I'm 38 and I've never had a Brazilian wax BUT that is going to change
  12. Yes costco does carry them! They are yummy- they also have some fantastic chicken meatballs. I believe onion and mango jalepeno. They are already cooked- I just heat up 3 or 4 and BAM... Delicious meal. I also just bought all natural chicken sausage. Tasty I portion everything into 3oz freezer bags and have my meals. Then I pick up a rotisserie chicken while I'm there and make many 3oz portion bags. Perfect for on the go. I love Costco
  13. I was sleeved on Sept 18th. I started walking 5 days after surgery. I started small and got up to about 5-8 miles a day. Now I take classes ( muscle conditioning, turbo kick and Piyo -Pilates/yoga) 3 days a week and lift 2 days a week. I'm going to start cross country skiing if we ever get snow her in Illinois.
