So i am now 7 weeks post op , things are A LOT better as far as pain and being able to move around sleep better work out and i have energy back lol , im now down to 250lbs from being 293 day of ... im happy and proud of my progress so far , But as far as my diet stage im still on a majority of just liquids Ive tried softer foods and cant tolerate them at all , i mostly do Water g2 gatorade protien shakes sugar free apple sauce popsicles and weight watchers string cheese Im sure it will get better go for my next doc appointment Jan 30th and i am excited too see how the docs pleased with my progress, also my irons Low cause i bruise SUPER easy lol ..... and im excited for summer and clothes are already fitting me diffferent

This damn thing has been saying that i will weigh 124 in 5 weeks with my current intake, and I have been in a stall for 3 weeks and counting! I think the only way I will weigh 124 I cut off my right leg, maybe my left too

Yeah, that whole "easy way out" crap pisses me off. Difference is at 43, I really don't care what my co-workers think. Here's how it is. I work in the gas patch. Have for 9 years. I was 155, over the past 9 years I've gained over 100 lbs. Guaranteed they talked crap. (btw- I work in an all men industry). I hope they talk about me. I hope I'm that special that I take up time and space in their day.

After my surgery my breath was BAD!
My husband tried to be polite.
I got him good. I told him the Dr said he needed to smell it every hour to make sure I was okay. Haha. Anyway. He was so apologetic and said he just couldn't do it.
He tells me it's fine now. He compares it to road kill.

I have the same problem, habit. I have 63 years of slamming food down and adjusting to tiny bites doesn't happen unless I think about it. Many times I sit with a big mouthful and realize that I have to chew that thing for a looong time and let it down slowly or I'm gonna pay for it.
I am trying to force myself to sit for a while before I eat, look at my food, and plan a strategy. Engage the brain all the way through. Wait between bites. Swallow, wait, feel. Did I reach the limit yet?

I was sleeved on September 18, 2012 stating weight was 262 lbs got on the scale this morning for my weight in finally hit the 199 mark cant remember the last time i was there

Fiddleman you've done amazing - now in onederland - you must feel so much healthier and happier, and thinner!!!
sorry you are having a couple of problems now, feeling a little hungry a couple of hours after you eat sometimes.
i know this isn't the best response to your response but.........
i'm 13 months PO - goal - i sometimes get head hunger too
as *weird as it sounds - i just "yell" at myself reminding me of my heaviest weight, how i can never afford to go back to that weight
i have too much going on with the plusses with my life, health, and self-confidence, just plain happiness
no more diabetes/insulin meds - high blood pressure meds - no more CPAP - and my knees are feeling good too
"yell" at myself, talk to myself, convincing myself to stand up straight and stay on plan - might sound silly, easier said than done - working for me now, and hopefully always
i also know i'm a newbie as far as being at goal - just 13 months po...but you gotta start somewhere - i plan and will stay on plan, and proper weight

Thank you for your update. I'm on my way to Vegas right now to have mine Friday. Tommorow I go in at 1:00 for what I believe is my information and dietian appointment.
