  1. Oops I'm back gotta do a little correction. Seems I was 260. My highest wAs 279, day of surgery was 253. Oops sorry.
  2. Smokey 12 Hi. I was sleeved 12-7-12. I don't even like to get on here anymore. I feel like a failure when I do. I was private pay which just adds insult to my injury. I've lost 64-67 lbs since my surgery. I haven't lost weight since August. I'm happier than I was at 259 but I had high hopes of being at a "normal" weight. I normally consume 12-1600 calories. I work in the oilfield so I'm active. I don't "workout". I do walk and am active all day. I just keep telling myself that I'm healthier now, that's what's the most important. Btw 5'10 279 highest weight. 259 day of surgery 192-95 My goal was 165 Was size 3x top and 24/26 bottoms Now L or Xl tops and 12/14 bottoms

  7. Went to las Vegas. Cash price was 10.4k. It was outpatient surgery, however I had to stay in a motel from thursday to Monday. Drove there and back. All together 12k.
  8. No regrets here. Best 12k I ever spent!!!!!!
  9. Yeah, that whole "easy way out" crap pisses me off. Difference is at 43, I really don't care what my co-workers think. Here's how it is. I work in the gas patch. Have for 9 years. I was 155, over the past 9 years I've gained over 100 lbs. Guaranteed they talked crap. (btw- I work in an all men industry). I hope they talk about me. I hope I'm that special that I take up time and space in their day. Without being foul mouthed... Fack them. Be proud of your choice. Be proud of your progress, this is your life. Omg, this last 6 weeks has sooooo not been the easy way out.
  10. Awesome. Good for you. That will put some bounce in your step today.
  11. Hope no one was offended by that post.
  12. Haha lol. After my surgery my breath was BAD! My husband tried to be polite. I got him good. I told him the Dr said he needed to smell it every hour to make sure I was okay. Haha. Anyway. He was so apologetic and said he just couldn't do it. He tells me it's fine now. He compares it to road kill.
  13. Way to go. That's a whole person you've lost. Great. Your an inspiration!!
  14. Keep your eyes on the prize. A healthy happy you!!!

  17. Hmmm Check blossom bariatrics. It's in Vegas. I know they do financing. I just don't know the extent. I paid cash, cash. It was 10,400. I don't know where you live or any of that but keep checking. Don't give up. Be diligent. This is your life. Your future. Don't quit on yourself.
  18. Tzepeda, the last message was for you. Congrats and good stuff baby, good stuff.
  19. On your way to a brand new you. 5 days out and I feel great. Wonderful. I'm sleepy more often but that's nothing. I'm down a total of 18 lbs today. Woot. Your making a great decision for yourself.
  20. I had the surgery at the hospital outpatient. Make sure you have a good support person. That will make all the difference. They will tell you to be up walking every 2 hours. The first night it's hard. My wonderful husband set an alarm and got me up. We stayed at the Marriott residence. Off the strip. It was good. No smoke, not a million people.
  21. Hmmm I don't see my reply. The staff at blossom were great. The medical staff at the hospital were wonderful. Everybody was super. Not one regret or bad taste here.
