  1. "WLS....but I can't see someone only giving out part of the information that makes them look good or feel accepted." I find my weight no ones business. And I certainly don't give partial info just to make myself look good or feel accepted. I don't give a **** if someone thinks I'm good at something or accept me. To me, my weight gain and/or loss is very personal to me. I guess I could take your advice and when someone insists on prying and asks me about my weight.. And instead of giving a partial answer, I will simply not answer and see how that flies
  2. My cat is NOT fat. He is ..he is.. Big boned
  3. Possible inadequate intake of essential vitamins and nutrients and/or prolong periods of inactivity, but like others said.. Check with dr
  4. OH... And yes, he would not hesitate eating your dog. My blk lab hides from it!
  5. My cat, like docbree's, is also 24+ lbs. it's a Maine coon and is supposed to be big.. Just not quite that big.
  6. Kristine I too, see "fry(s)" with Martin's name
  7. I add mine in a 23.7 oz water and drink it on my 70min commute to work.
  8. Closer to 56 than 55 now and would do it even if I was over 60. Like others I wish I would have done it years ago and DEFINITELY instead of years with the lapband
  9. If you do an all forum search for " hematoma" above you will find quite a few have had this issue.
  10. It has nothing to pain tolerance. Some of the toughest people here have had a really bad time with pain and just the opposite with some wussy.. They have had no pain at all. The gas the inflate you with has a lot to do with it. Everyone reacts differently..almost the luck of the draw.
  11. How exciting! Great job and keep it up!
  12. Congrats and good luck on your journey a healthier you!
  13. Yep.. I sure could do it and have a gazillion times and that's probably why no one asks me how I'm losing weight. They are very accustomed to me be becoming thin over and over again. I will be using the sleeve tool to remain thin.. So perhaps that's when they will ask me how I'm doing it.
  14. Also.. How do you know she was lying? Maybe she was on the thin end of yo-yo dieting? Also, perhaps you are not considered a friend she wants yo confide in? I have friends and family that I won't tell because I know what they are like..
  15. When I don't tell people it IS NOT LYING! They ask and I tell them I eat healthier and control my proportions. That is not a lie. It's my choice to whom I tell. Simple as that.
  16. If you're still taking pain meds that can contribute to constipation also.
  17. Seriously? And you know this as a fact how?
  18. Yep, I regret I didnt do it at your age.. I waited until 55
  19. I agree. If it weren't for the "controlling" I'd say he was maybe just worried, but I'm probably wrong. My husband didn't wnt me to do it because of safety.. He's gone through a lot with me and instead of stating the obvious he tends to keep quiet. (score one for husband) lol.. He doesn't comment on my loss because he's probably afraid I'll think he thought I wasn't nice looking before. My mouth tends to run a muck before engaging brain, so after almost forty years.. He has learned Ooookay... Lol, OP.. Go with what is best or YOU! We're here fer ya!
  20. Tar like stools means digested blood. Just as black vomit is also digested blood.
  21. Almost 2 months out and almost 30lbs down. From the moment I woke up from surgery I have felt amazing and absolutely no complication and only a little sore, but since then I've been floating on cloud nine. I'm a very slow loser and have been in a stall for several weeks ( lost a few recently) but I don't care. I FEEL GREAT!
  22. I have very weak veins so this was the second one that blew during this hospitalization. When the second one happened it was in the middle of the night so I just took the IV out myself and that one didn't get inflamed. The first one they waited on and that gave me trouble.
  23. Woot woot... From 167 to 163. After a several week stall ( knock on wood)
