  1. I am averaging as well 2-lbs per week weight loss. I am 50 lbs loss since surgery however; 59-lbs overall. Another 80-lbs to go to be at my "goal" weight. Glad to hear everyone is doing so well. it is nice to see and hear what other's are doing. My only issue pushing that darned water. I do walk 5 times per week anywhere from 2-3 miles which helps me focus. Congratulations to everyone.....we are all on journey to a new "you"....
  2. Wondering how everyone is doing? It seems now everyone's life is beginning and less time for VST anymore. Hope all are still doing well.
  3. I was cleared at 6 weeks as well.
  4. My Nut told me 800 calories. I am also on myfitnesspal as well. It does help keep you aware of what your putting in your body. Somethings I could eat previously can't anymore tomatoes and certain types of fruit don't settle well. My hate for fish has turned into a like for fish. Easiest to eat and less calories but still getting protein in.
  5. I have noticed a little change in movement. I think it is the protein. Tells you I never think to drink here it is almost 4 and I haven't drank since noon...and I wonder why I stalled..yes I know! My water alarm even went off I guess I ignored it..stupid me got to push the water. I am drinking while I type... Great weight loss. You will be off liquids before you know it!
  6. I finally after two weeks moved 6 ounces I will take that. I for one struggle with water intake. I downloaded app that goes off every hour telling me to drink up. That has helped plus walking two miles a day...I know water is my issue. Congrats on your 26 lbs down since sleeved...that my friend is fantastic!!!
  7. I have stalled for two weeks now...frustrating but also know it will pass. I am total down 45 but still only 22 since 7/1 surgery : (
  8. I went to my post op appointment today. She said I was right on target so I will stop fretting and embrace my slower weight loss. At 51 I am thrilled at the point for my continued losses.....perhaps my skin will take note and slow the sagging process down too...lol. Glad to see all are doing so well. Keep pushing cuz there's no going back!!! Thank goodness. .
  9. ONE MONTH July 1st sleevers.....I want to know how your doing? How much weight you have lost? Are you abiding by your doctor's program as required? Water? I won't lie today marks 30-days I am disappointed in my loss. I am doing everything that has been required...I think because of my age my metabolism may be slower...discouraged. I go to the doctor on Monday...afraid my scale and his scale aren't going to be the same. While I am thrilled at my 22-lbs (since July 1st surgery) I see other people who have lost far more than me. I even walk 4-5 nights per week 2 miles......enough griping grateful I am loosing just feel like everyone is passing me by........

    July 2013 sleevers

Are you drinking your fluids? I have a hard time doing fluids of any type. I had surgery July 1st since June 24th I am down 32 lbs. I am pushing, pushing fluids today. I have been stuck at one number for 3-days now and know it is the liquid. Good luck ~ it too shall pass!
  11. I feel the I feel the e I feel the exact same way. I feel that I could eat and eat but obviously don't try. I am still on cloudy liquids until the 27th but at the moment honestly yes I feel like I could eat anything I wanted. I can't stomach protein shakes at all makes me squeamish just to think of them. I am doing protein shots however; my physician told me only drink 1/2 of the 26gms per day at the moment. I will be honest I am growing weary of eating/drinking the same thing everyday. I know temporary but I never feel "full" or satisfied. Enough of my griping...happy Friday everyone!

    July 2013 sleevers

Yes but only the barium swallow which is nothing compared to what we did at the hospital. I am not drinking fluids like I should be..never been much of a water drinker. I set a timer on my phone to remind me.....need to push those fluids.

    July 2013 sleevers

Hi everyone....July 1st my surgery and I had my post op visit yesterday had my staples removed and barium swallow all went very well. The first 24-hours are the roughest... I am down 13 lbs since the surgery. My issue must be like everyone elses...I also have "hunger" pains as well. I can wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I am starving. I definitely know I am not drinking enough or eating enough. My physician Dr Kim has me now on full cloudy liquids for 2-weeks. Full cloudy liquids really does not consist of many offerings out there. I do the protein shakes or try at least to down 1/2 of a 26g protein shot per day. I was told yesterday my protein was not near as important as the fluids but yet I have a fear of loosing my hair. I will confess I wanted a bowl of cereal last night I had to walk out of the kitchen with a sugar free popsicle instead. Suggestions for full cloudy liquids? I have had the cream of mushroom and c of chicken soup but feel I am missing something. I know just temporary that is what I keep telling myself along with singing the song in the my head "just a little sip...take another sip....just one more little sip"...... Have a great Wednesday everyone...I hope your feeling better to those who are struggling.
  14. Today I am starting to live the life I always wanted~ thankful and blessed!
