  2. I am a Lapband pt, but have a few friends who have the sleeve, so I wanted to learn what I could about it.

  3. Having trouble getting off this snacking roller coaster...HELP!!!

  4. Thanks so much for your kind comment...I'm sure you will do great!

  5. Down 2 lbs...up 2 lbs....

  6. Today is my 5 yr bandiversary!!! Whoop!!!

  7. Why are the last pounds always the hardest to get rid of? lol

  8. Thanks for writing me...I'm blushing at the thought of me being an inspiration to you (or anyone)...thanks so much, for giving me the ego boost I need right now...I too have been battling with losing my last 20 lbs. Keep up the good work, let me know how you're doing.

  13. Thanks for the friend add, and good luck...I love what you said about how you can't go "totally crazy" with the band...so true, I was just telling someone that same thing!

  14. Hi Katy, thanks for the friend add.

  15. Hi, I was just wondering where you are from, since I had never heard the term tertiary school...is that college? Just being nosey! lol

  16. Thank you Jamie and I wish all the best for your upcoming journey to the life and happiness you want and deserve!

  17. Hi Typoqueen. I ran across your thread again and was wondering how you are doing 6months later. I lost the 7lbs I gained while on our last road trip, but still haven't gotten back to the gym to work on losing my last 20...wishing you good luck!

    Later, Joanie :o)

  18. Hi, Thanx for checking out my PS pics...and don't be afraid of the bruises...they did not hurt, really. I know it looked bad, but it wasn't painful. The only discomfort I had was my underarms were a little irritated...kinda like I cut them shaving. Again, don't let my pics scare you, check with a plastic surgeon first, and see what others on here have to say. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    good luck, Joanie :o)

  19. Hi Josie, I was about 15 - 18 lbs from my goal when I had my tt and bl and 10 lbs from goal when I got my arms done. I'm working hard now to lose that last 9-10 lbs, although I am soooo very pleased with where I am at now. I can actually wear a sz 4 jeans....whoop! And no bulging, that's the best part. Good luck with those last few nasty lbs, but don't let that stop you from getting the plastic surgery done now, if that's what you want. Later, Joanie :o)

  20. ok, so maybe you need to go to your usercp, then under settings and options click on edit options...scroll down to thread display options and make sure you have checked show signature. save and that should fix it. I hope!

  21. "Can you tell me where and how to put a ticker on my page? I have tried to add one but... um... I'm a little computer stupid bc it didn't work... :( YOu are doing so great! Thank you for the encouragement and support!!!"

Hi, looks like you figured it out...or at least you seem to have it in your signature. Thanks for the nice compliment, and I wish you all the luck in the world with your weight loss. Joanie :o)

  22. Is Rogers your last name, or your married name. My maiden name is Rogers and my Dads whole family is from upstate...kinda spread out now, but mainly around Perrysburg, Gowanda, Franklinville...some of the towns I remember. Wouldn't it be a small world if we turned out to be related? haha!!!

  23. It's been 2 weeks now, how are you doing? I can't even imagine having to take care of 4 kids after I had my surgery. You deserve some kinda medal.

  24. Yep, you did just fine. I am excited for you and I know you'll do great tomarrow. I had my lapband done May 12th, 2006. I'm over 2 yrs out now. I have lost slower than I had wanted to, but my drs think I've done great, so who am I to argue with the experts, right? Anyway, I still have 15 to 20lbs to lose to get to my original goal of 130, and it is going very slow, but isn't that always the way when you get close to your goal? At least I know I can maintain! haha!! I'll be waiting to hear how your surgery went and I hope you do well with the weight loss. your friend, Joanie :o)

  25. Hi ChinaDoll, I have to apologize for not getting back to you sooner, but I just saw your message today. Spiegel wasn't concerned at all and thought I was doing good. I thought I should be losing faster, but that's just me, I guess. Lets see, fills...I've had five fills and once I had a little taken out cause nothing would go down. My last fill was Sept 4th 2007, and although I thought I needed another fill last month, the Dr I'm seeing now said I was doing fine, so I'm at 2.2, or should be. I still have 20lbs to lose and I have been at a standstill for over 3 months now. I am determined to lose these last few lbs. before January since I have scheduled a tummy tuck and upper arm lift for the 6th. Good luck, Joanie
