I had to do broth to get over that sweetness thing. I love sweets and it was too much for me. Hang in there. It doesn't last forever. -
this is absolutely my biggest fear and I was sent home not taking my thinners because I had such bad post op bleeding, requiring a transfusion. hearing it is something I could still face 3 weeks out is terrifying to me. Especially if I m doing what I am supposed it.

After Surgery Pain

it really depends on the individual I think. I haven't had pain meds since 6 am on day 1 post surgery. the gas pain in the shoulders was really annoying and uncomfortable. Everything else for me so far has been tolerable. I did end up with excessive bleeding and blood transfusion of 2 units though. just busted back out of hospital today at lunch time. I am bloated and bruised and hungry. -

I am thankful to have others to share this horrid problem with but sad we all have to deal with it. I hope to get laser at some point, but right now I am like KristiP with the tweezers and small magnifying mirrors stashed everywhere. ugh! -
Honestly, I feel the same way. I am a catastrophizer. Always thinking the worst will happen. My surgery is tomorrow and I am still scared to death. no pun intended. trying to focus on the future but it is hard. Hopefully your NUT and psych appoints go well and give you some encouragement!

WTG! Keep up the good work. It has to be a great feeling to see the progress. I am one that focuses on numbers too, but I am trying really hard to shoot for what makes me feel good and feel confident.

It was having my kid that really pushed me to make this choice for all of us. I want to be around to see them grow up and this is my best shot at it. Glad you decided to step out of the shadows and post. Good luck with your journey.

I am terrified I will have to roll mine up when I am at goal. Haven't thought too much about plastic surgery yet, too many bridges to cross before that. I just can't imagine that anything would make them bigger if you are losing weight. -

I am on my last day of 14 days of liquid so you have my sympathy. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever done and I sadly have cheated. Really wish I wouldn't have because it just felt like starting all over again. try to look past the time you have to do it to the bigger journey post surgery if you can. Hang in there. -
