    No -One Responds!

I see multiple questions asked over and over again on forums it's not a big deal. Who wants to search back 10-12 months for 100+ pages to find an answer to a question that may have a bit of uniqueness to it. Personally, I'm pretty much done with this forum as I don't get a lot of comments on any of my posts. I guess I must have repeated someone from an earlier page as well.

Also I agree. I get few responses on my posts as well.

One week is good. Two weeks is better. Mine was done as an outpatient.

    Not Fair

It happens. Fluid retention. You'll lose it soon.

    Complications?

I had the same pain. It lasted about two weeks. I got a gel ice pack and a weight loss belt I put the pack against the area and wrapped the girdle type belt around me. That seemed to help some. I had a friend who's a nurse tell me that there's a lot of nerves in that area and it's possible, that a nerve got caught in the stitching of the muscle. Hope it doesn't last too long for you.
  8. I am a.little over 4 weeks out. Whenever I eat, after a few bites, I feel like I've swallowed a lot of air and air bubbles are trying to fight their way up and out while I am swallowing another bite. It really hurts sometimes. Anyone else have this?

    Eating Solids

    Thanks all!
  10. Is there anyone who was able to eat more than they thought they would be able to? I just started soft solids fish and some refried beans and ate more than I thought I'd be able to. Now I'm full but I took in more than I thought I would be able to in the beginning.
  11. Mine was done as an outpatient. I went into surgery at 11:00 AM and by 6 PM I was back at my RV checking e-mails and reading the forums. It depends on the type of person you are and your body's ability to bounce back.
  12. I had a BMI of 40. I am 43 years old and had my surgery done on an outpatient basis in North Bend Oregon. I have had no complications, very little pain, and zero nausea. I had my surgery on 9/24/12 (self-pay). I would do it again in a heartbeat. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who've had complications.
  13. Wow, I can't think of any reputable Dr that would do surgery on someone just for them to lose #34. But that's just me.
  14. I'm still on liquids til the 22nd, but I think I'm going to phase in a bit of cottage cheese for dinner. I am starving at times. It's weird how we all have different advice from different doctors for the same procedure. My doctor didn't even say it to me, I just got the "standard" book he gives to everyone.
