  9. I did everything thru my bariatric doctor's office. They set up everything, all appts, the psych eval, nutrionist appts, gym appts, group appts etc. I only had to do their 3 month program, that my insurance required. But, I know other patients who went thru their office as well for the 6 month diet that was required by their insurance company, plus all the other appts that I had. I'd give the bariatric office a call that you want to go to and discuss it with them and I am sure they'll be able to steer you in the right direction. And, I am sure they'll know exactly what your insurance requires.
  10. Thanx for sharing, you look amazing!! I hope to share some pics, maybe in a few months!! Best of luck in the rest of your journey! :-)
  11. Best of luck and prayers for an uncomplicated and quick recovery!! You'll do great. Don't worry about what others say, they aren't 'you'. :-)
  12. Good luck and prayers for an uncomplicated and quick recovery!!
  13. That's hard to guess, with stalls and all....but I'll hope to be at 190lbs by Thanksgiving, which means 15lbs to lose by then!! Less than 5 weeks away, that's a high goal, but we'll see!! Good luck to us all!!
  14. I never had acid reflux or heartburn before surgery. I was taking 2-3 Famotidine (script for Pepcid basically) since I got home from surgery on 8-23-12. It was so bad for weeks. I noticed that it got so much better the week of 10-8-12. I rarely need to take even 1 a day now. I think it's finally done bothering me, thank God. I suppose we are all different, but I still have a month's supply left in case I need it.
  15. I was told I could drive right after I got home if I wanted to as long as I was not on any prescription pain meds. I didn't really have anywhere that I needed to get to until 4 days after I got home, and I was in the hospital for 2 days.
  16. Awesome, keep up the good work!!!
  17. Great pics and great success, thanx for sharing!!

  21. Congratulations, very inspirational and nice to NOT hear "I ONLY lost....blah blah blah". So many are so down for not losing 100 lbs in 6 months or whatever that magic number in their head is. Thank God for people like you who embrace it no matter how long it takes to lose it!! More people need to take note and be more positive, thank you for that!!!!
  22. You look great!! Such a noticeable difference!! Nothing is filled out in your profile. How much have you lost so far??
