  1. I had bad gas pains for about a week also and I used gas-x (chewable)when I got home. It worked really good
  2. First off hello! I am new here and I am 5 wks out of my surgery. It has not been fun so far. I had my surgery on July 18, 2012 was in hospital for 4 days and released. I was re-admitted one week later for dehydration for 3 days and than released. To be re-admitted 3 days later for dehydration/dysphagia was in hosp for a week. I can't drink or I am sick or it won't stay down. While in the hospital the last time I had a picc line put in. I have been on TPN now for 2 wks. Still can't get anything down. I have lost 40lbs pre-surgery and now I am gaining weight from TPN. I hope I am not the only one with this problem (not that I would want anyone to suffer like have been)
