hi friends well i been bad. last night omg i was so hungry and nothing i mean nothing crystal light Jello pudding Soup broth nothing helped i stopped and got fried chicken strips and frys i ate like i hadnt eaten in days (tecnically i hadnt lol) than today i made chicken enchaladas from the chicken i made broth with and i ate some good news is i sent the rest with my son so it wont be in the house..
with that said i found the problem. yesterday at work each time i went to the bathroom i had to go through the lobby and it smelled of fried chicken omg i smelled it all evening of course that prompted me to want fried chicken strips. and i had them. the enchaladas well that just happened. i know i have to learn control but thats why i am getting sleeved that tool will help me with my protions and choices. so i am not perfect and i dont regret what i ate at all i am back on track tomorrow i still have a whole week to lose more weight and i will. hope everyone is doing better than me. and if you havent noticed i am a very honest person i tell on myself lol.

I'm going to my Pre-op appt tomorrow, and I am so ready for this. My surgery date is 9/11 but the computer won't save that date. It's o.k. Even though it is a hard day to remember, I'm going to make it into something good for me.

I just called to get my surgery time and its at 9am so i have to be at the hospital tomorrow for 7:15 am...eeeeeekkks. Its finally here. Less than 24 hours and ill be in recovery!

Its been a while since Ive posted but...i wanted to say good luck to anyone who is having their sleeve done today!!! I was supposed to have mine done on the 18th off Sep. but got pushed up to the 12th!!!! im super excited but also very scared at the same time! this will be my third surgery regarding weightloss. I had the band done in 2006 with lots of problems and finally got it removed in June 2012! Im hoping that this will be the end of weightloss struggles and finally be able to have a healthy thin life!!

I have lost 10lbs with 10 to go by Sept 11th. I can't wait. I wish I could have it done tomorrow.

This thread is getting big, but as our September dates approach it is good that we can be there for each other. My surgery is Friday, less than a week to go! Last night I made a huge roast beef dinner for the family who are all up for the weekend. I made myself some cream of mushroom Soup. While I was cooking I was afraid that I'd sit there and feel so deprived while everyone else was eating, but instead I found myself thinking, "I'll get used to this. I have a tool now that's going to help me get my life under control," and I just felt so grateful!

That's good ! I agree it sounds complacent,which is not the attitude you should get. it's not acceptable if they don't understand how we feel, we Do not want to hear excuses we want action! Let me know how you get on. I'm sending all my positive strength your way xoxo

Barisaxylady, I don't know. I am just so upset that I cannot handle it right now. Will try to call them tomorrow again and see what's going on....

Let me guess, he doesn't have a weight problem! Neither does the insurance lady in my office. I would call on a Friday and not have my call returned. You think they would be used to working with anxious women who struggle with the decision to even do it and once the decision is made, want it done NOW! lol Keep us posted!

Guys, I don't' know how this happened. all paper was ready 2 weeks ago. The first surgery date was originally 9/21, but I had an appointment last Thursday and ask to change it to 7 and they said YES. and I called them almost everyday to ask how was everything.
and today this news unsettle me.

this 10lbs. ive lost 6lbs. i plan on cleansing next week i have 4 days off so thats what i will do since i am home. i just cant get that excersie together grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. i know the 10lbs plus would of been gone by now if i would just do it lol
WELL THIS DIDNT HAPPEN.
my 4 days off were really off.
i didnt eat to to bad but i didnt do what i said i was going to do. i didnt gain or lose

Will be sometime in September.I have slot of appointments in August and my insurance requires no wait. I just wish it was now. I could kick myself for not going earlier but there is no stopping me now.

Thank you !!!!! I need much encouragement. I have a huge list of comorbidities. I am 48, 5'4" with a wt of 274 . I want to do this I'm tired of being sick and tired. I just don't want to be a repeat failure. One of my girlfriends has Gastric bypass over 1 yr ago and she looks wonderful. I'm tired of being the big girl in the group with the pretty face. Ok enough ranting and raving. :-)

Welcome Fran,
I think your feelings are pretty normal. The good thing is there a lot of people here who went from Lapband to Sleeve and have been very successful. I have the nervouse and scared feeling as well but also mixed with excitement. My surgery is Sept. 18th. Good luck on your journey.

Hi I'm new here but my surgical date is Sept. 19th, I'm excited and scared. I formally had a Lapband that was removed 5/11. So I don't want to be a repeat failure.

Had to switch from July 23 to September 6

Hooray my surgery was done 7/18/2012. I haven't been released to ho home yet suppose to have gone home today but Water from ice chips won't stay down..i guess homebound tomorrow. Goodnight!

I am also hoping for a surgery date early in September - will be able to let you know when it will be after my surgeon appointment next week!!
