  1. So, I am 10 weeks post op & when I went in for recent checkup they drew labs. Apparently, my potassium is low, as well as my Iron. I had to see a hematologist who has now put me on a liquid potassium & I have to have a series of iron infusions done. In between everything, I have to have labs drawn to keep track of my levels. Has anyone else had these issues & is this a long term problem?
  2. One piece of advice before going in...just as they start to put you under, dream about the skinny you & your successful weight loss, because your about to join us in the loser's bench....CONGRATS!!!! You're gonna do GREAT!!!!

  5. Well, I was told by my Dr. it depends on the elasticity of your skin, as well as other factors. He said to wait for at least 2 years. With the weight loss & exercise I should see some significant changes.
  6. Sudden attacks, I take Maalox. Sometimes, I will take Pepcid or Zantac if it's not severe.

  10. I'm 5' 3", starting weight was 177, surgery date 9/4/12, weight now 138.

  13. I am also RH- and have had many surgeries. This was never mentioned, other than it being an issue when I was pregnant.

  18. I'll start... I'm thankful for my Sleeve & the weight loss (an obvious), family & friends, health & happiness. I will not obsess that day & plan on eating at least a spoonful of all my favorites.
  19. Perfectly normal to stall at about 3 weeks out...don't panic! You will continue to lose weight & remember, you will hit stalls periodically....just breathe
