Today's The Day!

4 hours to go before surgery! Feeling pretty good, but woke up sweating at 4am this morning with a panic attack - "what the %$#@ am I doing?!" Today is better, I'm in good spirits and nervous just a little. Anxious to be on the other side! I'm as prepared as I can possibly be; I've been reading this great website for months now, talked with sleevers, and prayed. Does anyone have one piece of advice before I go in? Thanks.

Thanks All! I'm sleeved! I've officially had it about 24 hours. All of my fears were completely a waste of my time, surgery could not have been smoother. No issues, no nausea, no leaks and I'm moving around the house easily. I'm still on a little hydrocodone for pain, but honestly the pain was never really more than a 5 on a scale of 1-10. (I've had kidney stones before so I know what pain feels like :). So now I'm drinking small sips of water and protein shake, trying to get as much in as possible. Some burps occasionally right after swallowing, and occassional hiccups. But overall, much, much easier than I expected! So far, so good. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Thanks for your support!

My surgery date is 12/3. Needless to say, I am starting to get a little nervous but your post just made me feel alot better! So glad you are doing well!
