Love nectar Protein powder by Syntrax. I drink a scoop every Day in a 24 oz Water bottle and to me it blows crystal light away plus you get around 24 grams of Protein per scoop. The one I like the most is the strawberry mousse flavor. It tastes just like Frankenberry Crunch Cereal and you just mix it with Water.< /div>I'm trying this one in the morning-tks for the heads up!! I woulda mixed with milk-but I'll try the water
already packed sweatpants and tshirts. what about bra. can I wear the regular one after surgery? I mean the push up one with metal things under cups?
Another girl who has been recently sleeved said she went & got those 'as seen on
Tv' genie bras-she said they were comfy, didn't bind, nor hurt her swollen belly...
Prob not my choice to a club for dancing, but I picked one up to b comfy

I confess' date=' I'm the CEO of the "I Eat Too Fast, Therefore, I Slime Club." I have always been a fast eater. It seems to happen more when I'm eating out with friends. Trying to keep up, maybe? At home, I can get up, do a chore, come back to my food. Harder to do when eating with others. At least we know what our problem is. Good luck![/quote']Hey!! How u been? Hope well! I go c dr verboonen next wk!!

Does it have nuts in the mix?
Very little-small little flecks of nuts...I don't even think there's a whole pistachio in the whole box-it's really for eye appeal, I think...but has a really good flavor
Hey ' date=' this was a awesome thing.. Just the kick in the ass I needed.. I have no Ill effects , and live a normal life.. Granted I eat off the kids menu or me n my wife share a dinner at a fine restaurant.. But the minor mourning of food , isn't enough to make me have any regrets.. I'd love to whoof down a pizza pie again.. But I settle for a slice now..[/quote']

My boyfriend who doesn't understand struggling with weight your whole life and finally getting an opportunity to live a healthier life.He thinks I am taking unnessicary measures.
Because he doesn't understand what I am dealing with he has left me. I partly believe that it's for the best. Maybe I need to focus on me become a healthier' date=' stronger me and move on.

I'm scheduled for Sept 14th.Welcome Pink I'm also sched for Sept 14th!! Another sleeve sister!! Have u started any type of pre op diet? Where r u havin ur surgery?
oooo' date=' haven't seen cafe latte! I've been buying them at my regular grocery store and their selection is limited. I was thinking of going to Vitamin Shoppe, do you know of any other retailers that have a wider variety in stock (and aren't terribly pricey)?
I appreciate the advice!! Thanks![/quote']
My Walmart carries the cafe latte ones & GNC has them-if ur a gold card member there, it's not too bad on price. I'm still experimenting with diff ways to make these shakes-if I come up with a really good one-I'll def share

still pre-op here' date=' but I've been doing Protein shakes to get used to them in preparation for pre- and post-op diet.I LOVE muscle milk. chocolate and vanilla creme are all I've tried so far, but I really enjoy them. I also have sugar-free spiced chai powder, been mixing that with the vanilla for a nice "chai latte" that I used to always get from Starbux. I've also used coffee extract (found it at Whole Foods) or sugar free raspberry Syrup in the chocolate shakes. The shakes are also good by themselves (IMO), but I like to flavor it up for variety. I haven't tried the raspberry with vanilla creme yet, but I plan to - I also want to get some strawberry syrup or extract as well.
I'd love to hear from anyone who's tried both the muscle milk ready to drink shakes and the powders. I've only been using the ready to drink shakes, but it's SO expensive to do it that way... would like to try the powder but am afraid it won't be as good. Anyone know about this?[/quote']
Hey make my own luck!! I've tried both the pwd & ready to drink muscle milks. My fav is the cafe latte-either way...& a friend told me to try the Cookies & cream-I'm not an Oreo fan, but tried it anyway (pwd) & it was really good! I don't care for the straw, or the banana
I use the ready to drinks when I'm out-
And the pwd for when I'm home-once u use the pwd tho-u'll like it better cause u can use as much as u want & add stuff!
I had my band placed 9/4/08...lost close to 90 lbs, but ALWAYS had issues & discomfort. Within the last yr & 1/2, the dreaded weight is back-I've grown tired of always havin to sit near a bathroom when I go out to eat for fear that @ any given moment during a meal-I may hurl what looks like a baby jellyfish outta my mouth...I will have my revision to a sleeve on the 14th-a few more days...I cannot wait!! I will lose that 90 again & this time-it won't find it's way back
