    Thank you everyone.

    I'm at 175 right now
I haven't really talked to anyone but my hemotologist, who didn't seem concerned.
I don't get my 100g of protein tho I know I should. But again, nothing tastes right and it's a big food turn-off.
I'll see if I can get in to see Dr. K. I haven't seen him since maybe a 2 years after my surgery. So I should probably have a followup.
    Thank you everyone.

I had a switch done (please don't kick me out!).
My doctor recommended it because according to data, there are higher success rates of percentage of goal lost and higher rates of maintained loss over long term. My recovery may have been a little longer (I also had my gallbladder and an esophogeal ulcer removed), from what I'm reading, but for the most part, everything I read here seems to apply. I have the same stalls, the same eating/drinking issues, the same...bathroom issues, etc.

    Hi Deanac
Well that makes me feel better about my stall...lol
If the DS was available in the UAE in 2003 I would have done it.Heck if it was here now I still would have considered it but I am not very compliant with Vitamins so it might have been a bad idea for me.
    Good luck and enjoy losing!

I do crossword puzzles while I eat dinner and put the fork down between bites. Being occupied while I eat seems to help.

I am 63. I knew getting the puff out of my face would allow the lines to show up. I pictured my face looking like a Rolling Stone: thin and raisin-like in texture.
As it turned out it is not that bad. It also helps that my new energy and sense of well being makes me not give a rat's posterior about it.
I'd rather be an obnoxious old-looking guy that doesn't know how to "act his age" than a young looking old guy that acts decrepit and feeble.

I gained almost 10 pounds while I was in the hospital and had to lose that first. It was very frustrating to come out of the hospital weighing more than when I went in! It'll go. Patience grasshoppa...
