  1. Wow! That is awesome for 6weeks! You look great! Keep up the good work
  2. Has anyone had a problem with nausea and vomiting after feel so good for a while? I'm about 3 1/2 months out and had a lot of problem with nausea and vomitjng early on and have been feeling good for a little over a month now and for whatever reason the last couple of days I have been vomiting but not after every time I eat. I am hoping that this can happen and will pass.
  3. I am about 3 1/2 months out now and still eat about the same. Some days I can't manage to get all my food in but other days I'm good
  4. I was suprised what all I can eat 2 1/2 months out considering how sick I was early on. I have my staples which are chicken tenders (plain with no breadding or anything) grilled or baked, tilapia, shrimp (which seems to be the easiest thing on my sleeve), beef tenderloin, broccoli, brussel sprouts, eddemame, greek yogurts, cheese and almonds. My typical day is... Breakfast Danon light and fit greek yogurt Snack 100 calorie pack of emerald almonds lunch 2 oz fish shrimp or chicken A couple pieces of a veggies like broccoli brussel sprouts or yellow squash Snack String cheese dinner 2 oz of a meat And a couple pieces of a veggie I have tried salads but its hit or miss for me. Sometimes it agrees with my sleeve others days it makes me sick ugh I know each person is different...my advise is to slowly introduce new foods and if it doesn't agree with you try again later in a week or so.
  5. I'm sure you ladies know where I'm coming from when I say it was a big chore to groom down there. I hated doing it but had to bc I prefered it that was and I'm sure my hubby did as well. Well I am 3 months out from surgery and I haven't groomed down there since then until yesterday and lemme tell you its sooooo much easier now! I can actually see what it looks like now:-) its definitely a great feeling to be able to do it and not feel like a contortionist!
  6. I hit onederland this morning!!! 199.6:)
  7. This why I LOVE this site! Everyone is so supportive and encouraging!
  8. I will be 3 months post op on Wednesday and have officially lost 60lbs. I know it's not as much as some others have lost but I'm ecstatic. I try not to worry about what others have lost but it's hard sometimes but I try to think of it this way...I'm only 3lbs from being in onederland:-) the last time I was in the 100's I was in high school. Just thought I would share my happiness with everyone:-)
  9. I LOVE popcorn but thought maybe it would be a nice snack. I haven't thought of it being a slider....dunno why not lol
  10. When we're you able to eat popcorn???
  11. I have been with my husband for almost 15 years and for most of that time my husband has never been able to pick me up without looking like he was about to die! Well today after we got home from work out of the blue he picked me up:). AND he didn't act like he was break in half. The little things that come from having the sleeve are really making me so happy I got the sleeve:). Just thought I would share
  12. This is something I've wanted to do for a very long time bc I really hate shaving. I'm just so embarrassed by my fat poochy pubic area:-(
  13. I know this might be a stupid question but I never paid attention to it when I was heavier but is it normal to gain 3+ lbs during that time of the month? I got on my scale this morning and I was shocked to see the gain and I've been doing everything right.
  14. I am almost 2 1/2 months out and still eat a very small amount of food. I have seen others that in personally know who were able to eat a lot more. I eat about 5-6x a day. To give you an example for breakfast I can eat 1/2 Greek yogurt and then I'm full.
  15. Yeah that is what I was afraid of. I've been sleeved for 2 month and have never had a problem. I'm going to try to change the vitamin and see what happens
  16. I know I posted earlier today how great I was feeling maybe I jumped the gun. Has anyone experienced nausea out of the blue with vomiting almost immediately after? Twice today it happened after taking some vitamin supplements. First time it was after I took my multi vitamin and my calcium and the second time it was after I took a multi vitamin and my actigal for my galbladder. I have been fine with food.
  17. Not a problem. When I weighed myself morning of surgery I was 262 and this morning I am 212 when is your surgery?
  18. I can't wait! I had such a hard time in the beginning but now that I'm better the sleeve has become my best friend. I absolutely think it's the best thing I have ever done!
  19. I woke up this morning and weighed myself and I have now officially lost 50lbs! I was sleeved on 9/19 and I don't know why but it felt like these last 10lbs took FOREVER! Now I have 70 make e to get for my personal goal:-) just a small victory I wanted to share:-D
  20. I am also at 8 week's post op. 8 weeks actually as of yesterday. What we are doing for thanksgiving this year is turkey and healthy veggies that way there is nothing available that is not good for me. My hubby is being extremely supportive of me and has not made a fuss.about not being able to have the normal thanksgiving dinner. I have also heard of other.people saying their families are making adjustments to how they make certain things to make it healthier.
  21. My Dr said 2 weeks but I cheated;-) but only by a couple of days lol
  22. Fiddleman that's exactly what I thought! I have never heard of it before but can't imagine putting coca cola up there!
  23. Ok so just an update on what the Dr's office said...full dose of miralax 4x a day and 2 colace morning and night and if not relieved by tomorrow to do an enema. If that doesn't work then she mentioned a Coca-Cola enema??? Wtf! She said it's an enema with flat coke.
  24. I went out and bought some miralax and if there are no results by tomorrow morning then I'm calling the dr office when they open. I didn't worry too much when a week went by and even 2 weeks bc I had gone 2 weeks every other time but now that I'm 2 1/2 weeks its started to concern me. I will let everyone know what he says tomorrow if no results from the miralax.
