  2. Does anyone know?????? Are we allowed 2 drink carbonated drinks????? I had my surgery 9weeks ago. I was just wondering. Thank you in advance for any feed back
  3. Thanks everyone for all your responses. I'm new to this so sorry that it took me this long to answer. I'm still trying to get around.
  4. I know they did say no straws but that's the only way I can drink without putting air in my stomach and causing an upset. If I sip or even try too drink I swallow way too much air and it upsets my stomach. And all my drink have to be with lots of ice even my milk. Hot things upset my stomach, Everytime I sit to eat a meal I have to make sure it's lukewarm anything hotter then that and I am done it hurts way too much. Weird I know. My mama always said I was different ))
  5. I've had my surgery 6/28-2012 in Mexico and I am having a very difficult time eating solid foods. I can only take in about 2 tablespoons of food at a time and even then I have to keep reminding myself eat slow, take smaller bites because if I don't I have such a tummy ache. And I vomit. Drinking I have no problem at all with liquids. And protein shakes I can down them of course with a straw I can't just sip it upsets my stomach. Without any problems. Everyone is different I believe that if we teach ourselves and follow what the nut or doctor says we shouldn't have any problems. I hope all the best to each and everyone of you to a healthy weight loss journey.
  6. Thanks. I'm sorry if this may sound ignorant but what is a nut???? I'm still on liquids it. Depends on how sensitive my stomach is but for the most part I eat like a bird, I do my Protein shake three times a day and then I eat either tuna, sardines, mashed cauliflower/broccoli, potato. Shrimp, beef is to heavy for now but veal isn't so much. I juice my fruit with my veggies. It still hurts my stomach on the solid foods but I just take smaller bites and chew longer then it's not so bad. I enjoy an avacodo every now and again one of my most favorite things to eat yum!!!!! I take in my Multivitamin and Biotin for my hair skin and nails and just started to take my potassium pills. I try to drink a minimum of 2 3oz glasses of milk or some kind of dairy, I think that pertty much sums it up. I thank for your help
  7. Hello, I had my gastric sleeve 6 weeks ago in Mexico, it was a wonderful experience and if given the chance I would recommend it to anyone who has tried absoulutley everything with no prevail. This is a tool to teach us how to rethink our choices and retrain our brains on how to eat what to eat. When to eat. And defiantly not to over eat lol. As I mentioned earlier I am 6 weeks in and down 30lbs and stuck not losing and not gaining thAnk GOD. Is there any advice on what more I should be doing to get the ball rolling again? I do mild excercise when I have the energy but for the most part getting it in. Thank you in advance
  8. You made a very good decision. And I hope for a speedy recovery and a beautiful healthy weightloss journey to you.
