  1. I love myfitness pal! It helps so much to stay on track.
  2. I flucuate on my grams of carbs daily but stay under 30 grams. Protien 40-90, if i do Protein drink I can get more protein in. Usually 300-600 calories daily. Currently due to my feet I cant exercise like I should. Hope this helps.
  3. Sorry my finger slipped & hit send lol I mix things up w my food by adding a little spinach dip to my tuna. Marinating my meat, melting cheese on it. ( using weight watchers or 50-75% reduced fat cheese), grilling/cooking veggies w my food. I still cant eat a lot of stuff tht others can eat for some reason but i do very good w meats, so far any kind of meat. eggs & bacon (turkey bacon or theres center cut bacon fron oscar meyer. Not something I wld do daily but every once in awhile to chng things up.) Turkey breast lunch meat, rolled up w cheese in it.
  4. I live in Texas & its about a 6-7 hour drive. So we drove in. Its real close to Del Rio so we stayed 1 night there & drove in for surgery.
  5. Please keep us updated on how things go. Very interested!
  6. I had my surgery in Acuna, Mexico. After crossing the border the hospital is just a few blocks. My doctor had performed SURGERY on my cousin who also had no complications & has done very well. He knows of others tht used same doctor w no complications. Its a private hosp owned by some doctors. My doctors name was Dr. Luis Alberto Cruz Gandara, he went by Dr. cruz. There is a plastic surgeon that is a doctor in this hosp. (sry I cant think of his name) he said he ws very good. If you're interest I can give you his number & you can tell him I recomended. Just let me know.
  7. Are you 6 weeks out? If so the honey moon is not over, maybe a stall. Do you knw wht your calorie, fat, carb, & Protein is daily? I use myfitness app to input mine daily. It helps a lot. Depending on what you ate eating & how much maybe switching things up from day to day. Like more for a few days then less, more carbs for a few days then switch it up w calories & fat. I hv been a slower user but I am losing & in inches also. I try to switch things up thru the week & sometimes it varies a lot. This is gross but constipation can also put you in a stall, so making yourself go at least a few times a week helps a lot.
  8. Yeah for your husband for taking you. Its great that they are doing something & not sending you home yet. Thank you so much for keeping us updated & please continue.
  9. Just my opion but have you thought of rotating every few days your calorie intake, fat, carbs, & protein instead of it maintaning close to the same daily? Just a thought.
  10. My surgery was July 16th & I still cant do water. I dont do well w liquids period...as in I cant get much dowm me. Lemon lime gatorade wrks the best so far & since the past weekend, i hv add water to my gatorade & added crystal light to it. Tastes great & hopefully it will continue to wrk so I can get on "just" crystal light. I hv tried it but so far I cant. But if you havent tried crystal light maybe give it a shot. Everyones body is diff, you may be able to do it. Your body is going through a shock w this surgery & sometimes it can throw you into an emotional world wind...try to stay positive & think of wht you will look like in the months to come. You can do this.
  11. Lol i ate a few slices today & then wondered
  12. Surgery was July 16th, you thk kiwi is ok to eat? Due to the little seeds in them?
  13. Please keep us updated. Will be praying for you.
  14. I sure hope you start to feel better. I wld go to the doctor today & see what he says. I also wanted to ask how old & how much did your nephew weigh? The reason Im asking is because I wasnt allowed to pick up/tug/pull for 6weeks after surgery.
  15. For me the nausea & vomiting came quickly & left quickly. Mine was from eating too fast after surgery. I was fine after I vomited. I hv always been a fast eater so tht ws something hard for me to get used too. Everyone experiences things diff after surgery. Im not a doctor but it does sound like it ws your blood pressure.
  16. Thank you! The softners make ne nauseated but i take them cause i hv too.
