i HAVE HAD MAJOR ISSUES WITH THIS. mY DOCTOR SAID TO TAKE mILK OF mAGNESIA EVERY FOUR HOURS UNTIL i HAVE RELIEF. hE ALSO SAID TO START ON A FIBER SUPPLEMENT SUCH AS bENEFIBER. sTUPID CAPS LOCK, BUT i AM NOT RETYPING THIS....lol!

Hi! Try the Ahhh bras. They give pretty good support, even for larger breasts and are so comfortable.

So excited that I lost 7 lbs since last Tuesday!!!! Had my Pre-Op today only 6 days till my surgery!!! the only bad new is.....I'm hungry!!! Grrrrr

I tell everyone I can. My husband does not want me to tell anyone but when I reach my goal I plan on upgrading anyway so I do not care what he thinks.

At first, I told my family I was starting the process of having the surgery...their reaction was not supportive at all. Crappy comments mostly...Even had one in-law snidely say "Well, don't think your body will look like it did when you were 20..." My surgery is scheduled for the 23rd and I have only told 4 people. I find that most people do not understand being overweight, nor being overweight with health issues. I say, if you want to tell everyone, go ahead. If you want to keep it between you and your hubby, go ahead. This website seems to offer a lot of support. We are all in this together!

Hello! after along while, I've decided to do the sleeve. I just set up my 1st appointment just few mins ago. I'm nervous, excited and alittle scared, but I can't live my life like i am anymore. Hopefully Things will go well.

I chose the sleeve because I didn't want re-routing of digestive tract. And, almost all the people I knew who had it have gained their weight back. My surgeon's office talked me out of the crap band, and told me about the sleeve. The lap band needs maintenance and then you have a foreign object in your body. I like the fact that with the sleeve the extra stomach is actually removed, rather than just sitting there, probably still producing all that grehlin. If your surgeon needs more experience, then maybe you should look for one that already has the experience, you don't want him getting his practice on you. Don't be afraid to ask how many sleeves he's done and how many leaks and/or other complications he's had. Good luck.
