  1. TMI for Sure. But i need some advice from my fellow sleevers. I was sleeved April 2012. I have had bouts of constipation here and there. But. Nothing like what I am dealing with now. I have been taking miralax for about a week now and have been able to go some. Yesterday I did an enema and within 30 seconds I had to go& it was all watery. I did another enemy today. Went right away again and watery as well. I am so bloated & my abdomen hurts. I'm so nauseous & I feel like there is more to come out. But. Nothing Else is coming out. Any suggestions?? Is this common? Do I call my doctor?
  2. Thanks! I have been working out since 5 weeks after surgery. I started out doing 30 min on the elliptical 3 days a week. Now I do 30-40 min 5-6 days a week on the elliptical or arc trainer as well As a weight watchers stability ball work out that is 45 min long. Focus' on belly, butt,& thighs. I do that work out 5-7 days a week as well. I eat mainly Protein & salads. Some days I fall off. But. For the most part I am diligent. I log everything I eat. Even if I have a bad day and have Cookies or something like that. The key is when you fall off. You have to get right back on track,& make yourself accountable for eating and exercising choices. Good luck
  3. I do a 45min. Weight watchers Stability ball workout at least 5 days a week and I do 30-40 min on an elliptical or arc trainer 3-6 days a week as well. Exercise Is the key
  4. Here is my current photo. Down 109 lbs.
  5. Great job on your weight loss!! I am 10 months out and am down 109 lbs. This surgery has been such a blessing. I can't remember the last time I wore a size 10. I honestly think it was in 6th grade. Keep up all the hard work!!

I have been dizzy a lot lately as well. Once I first get up. I am 8 mos out and just started getting this way on the last month. I'm drinking plenty of fluids as well. What Vitamins are you taking? Are you eating enough?
  7. I was sleeved 4-23-12. The before photo was taken a few weeks before my surgery& the after photo was taken a couple weeks ago. I have lost 95lbs in 8 months.
  8. I was sleeved in April,& have lost over 90lbs. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with ADD & started vyvanse. I went off the med a few month later, because I didn't think I really needed it. I started back on vyvanse a few weeks ago. I feel like it doesn't work the same way it did before surgery. Do any of you feel like medication effects you differently since surgery? Do we absorb medication differently with our new stomach's? I'm thinking my dose is just too high. Suggestions please. Thanks!!
  9. Yes. You should be just fine. My daughter use to take miralax once in the morning and once in the evening. She did this daily for over a year as per the GI doctors instructions. She was only 13 at the time.
  10. I know how you feel. I can finally wear a Medium in a shirt. But my arms are so big most shirts are uncomfortable. My arms are so gross! I work out at least 3 days a week, and my arms are just a mess. Stay strong and know at least you are healthier having lost all that weight.!!
  11. Awesome! You look amazing!! Don't you just feel amazing?? Keep up the good work!!
  12. First photo is 2 weeks after surgery & now Second photo is 6 weeks after surgery & now Third photo is 12 weeks after surgery & now
  13. You look amazing!!! This is just the beginning. Just think of how much more you will have lost in 3 more months. I was sleeved in April and in July I saw a huge difference. Now 3 months later from July I'm a whole different person! I guess what I am trying to Say is you look amazing now in 3 more months you will look even more amazing. Do not give your soon to be ex private time. If he was cheating before he will cheat again. I know first hand how hard divorce is and how scary it seems to be alone. Your depression will get better the more weight you lose. I am 6 months post op and I am off my depression meds! Once you get that self confidence you will shake the depression! Once again you look amazing!! Keep it up! Hit the gym and eat that protein!! God bless! Katie
  14. Right after surgery I was much hungrier than I am now. I am 4 months out and eat very small. Just be patient and diligent in your food choices.
  15. Congrats! You look amazing!
  16. Thanks for all the compliments 60+ pounds down! I feel great
  17. I am 37 and have had 2 children and have only vomitted a handful of times. That is unil I got surgery. I have thrown up 2 times from eating too fast. And have felt super sick several times from eating too fast. I think I'm eating slow enough and I'm not. It's so hard. Your food is never hot because it takes so long to eat it. My suggestion to you is start eating slow now. I didn't before surgery and I'm paying for it now. Feeling sick after you eat is the worst feeling ever. By the way I'm almost 6 weeks out. Post surgery.
  18. I was sleeved April 25. I never thought my pain would go away. Even 1 week ago today it still hurt to laugh, cough& sneeze. It even hurt to sit up straight to drive. I could only sleep on my back. The good news is this week all week I have felt great! I can laugh, sneeze,& cough with no pain!! I can also sleep on both sides!! Trust me it does get better. I never thought i was going to feel better again. But I feel great now! Good luck!!
  19. I asked about wearing a tampon and the nurse at my surgeons office suggested a pad. Just in case you aren't up to changing your tampon after surgery. I luckily got off my monthly cycle 2 days before surgery. I'm late starting this month. Maybe it's due to surgery??
  20. Ha. I'm eating refried beans with cheese & taco sauce. Right now. I haven't eaten a 1/2 cup yet. But I think I'm going to be able to eat it all.
