Hey I'm Jennifer. I'm a 30 year old that is getting sleeved next week. I live just outside of Baton Rouge. I actually went through the process to get RNY done 8 years ago and before I could have it done my insurance changed and really messed me up. I just gave up the idea of surgery completely. 8 years and 2 more kids later my grandmother offered to pay for me to have weight loss surgery. This was last month. We went to a consultation with Dr Bellanger in Baton Rouge last week. I will be sleeve April 19th. I'm scared to death but I am assuming that is normal. So that is my story and hopefully I can get to know a few of you because I don't have a big support system of people going through what I am. My fiancee is extremely supportive but I know he just won't understand some things.
