Amen to that. Mine will be a meal at one of my favorite places...Famous Daves!!! And it will be happening in 6 days!!! Can't wait to pig out!!

my pre-op diet will consist of two Protein shakes, a ton of Water, and a small sensible meal. I have to put the meal in the middle since I work outside and there is no place to make a shake or keep it cold if i were to make it at home. I am not looking forward to it... but it has to be done!!! Another member posted a picture of her diet instructions. I hope she chimes in. If not, I saved her picture to my computer and plan to use it as a guide as well

I have never heard of that but I most certainly would love to know more about.... one of my biggest post surgical concerns is the skin....so I plan on researching this and finding out more

We arrive on the 21st!!! And when you arrive i will still be in the hospital. I believe that Alma said that I will be back at the hotel on the 24th!!! So sure maybe we can have a chatting session over broth!!! awww that sounds like so much fun!!!

I had one as well and the doctors scared the mess out of me with all the test and dopplers and medicine...no fun at all

Any redness and are they hot to the touch???? Are you doing alot of walking since your surgery??? If it persist I would call the doctor and tell them your symptons. First thing that comes to my mind would be a blood clot...

That was funny!!!! I think the peope that know about my surgery are pretty much tired of me talking about it too... but I dont care, if they love me they will listen and like it If they could make the days go by faster they would definitely hear less of my mouth.... lol thanks for the laugh though!!!!

I am so with you!!! Insurance and these employers (I work for the federal government with their strict guidelines) and the devil. After two denials from Kaiser because of fed guidelines I just said forget another appeal and started researching going to mexico. And since I have has previous surgery in Mexico it was a no brainer!!!! Back to Mexico I go! I hope you are able to find a solution !

I am totally watching the clock lol and calendar. I try not to but it's hard not too. I just want my day to be hear right now. I start my pre op diet officially on the 15th but I am aiming for the 12th!!! 16 days until take off!!!

Congrats on getting a date!!! I am right behind you, scheduled for May 22nd!!! I am having a food funeral as well at my all time favorite restuarant, Famous Dave's!!! Yum yum yum!!! Again congrats!!!

I know it sounds gross, but what I did for her was put some canned chicken breast and chicken broth in the blender and blended it really find and she did well with that. And I tasted it, it wasnt bad.... of course I am pre op so my taste buds are still in tact....

that sucks. I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should nix the mayo and relish..maybe it was a little too soon for that. I am pre-op but I took care of my mother who is about 6 weeks post op with gastric bypass and I know that she couldnt handle all the mix-ins that soon try to take it slow
