I just had my big moment on Mother's Day. I got on the scale and it said 197! I am two months out from surgery and under 200 pounds for the first time in 10 years! I LOVE MY SLEEVE!

I went for my first 2 week post op and list 20lb and feeling great. I can start mushy foods today. he said to watch calories more then anything and to eat Protein first. he agreed that the south beach diet is probably the best to follow. he said about 1000 1200 calorie a day and 60 to 80 grams of protein that that sound right. he also said 4oz of protein per meal. he used a 34 bogie us that considered average

You should measure your waist, chest, calves, and arms. Those shrinking numbers can keep you motivated when the scale isn't showing you what you want. Just keep going and you'll see the results you want!

I've not had any issues with eggs but noticed when doing my food tracking that the calories/fat grams were adding up quickly when I was having a regular egg every day. I now typically use the southwestern egg beaters and make a breakfast scramble with mushroom, Tomato, and either canadian bacon or turkey sausage (and shredded 2% cheese). It's a really filling breakfast for fairly low calories/fat grams and great on the protein!

You're actually all set. salad is a filler for people with normal stomachs. Our focus needs to be on Protein first and then a few veggies if you have space left.

Yep, same here, I rarely eat salads although unlike you, I do enjoy them There is nothing wrong with sticking with the rule, Protein first carbs second.
