Before I even had my surgery, my Surgeon gave me a card that says: "The holder of this card has had stomach surgery which limits his or her stomach capacity. Please allow her or him the opportunity to order from your children's or senior's menu. Thank you for your support." On the back it has a message for Emergency Personnel saying only to place a stomach tube under fluoroscopy and no liquids greater than 6 ounces. It also has the hospital logo on the front "Flagstaff Medical Center Northern Arizona Healthcare" on the card and it is laminated. I use this card every time I go out to eat and have never had a problem. I would bring this up to the doctor's office. I am sure that the doctor's offices would be happy to make these up.
