  1. 2/14 I was sleeved! I am finding it hard get down the protein! Other than the fact that i haven't been remotely hungry! Water makes me want to vomit and I am an avid water drinker so this is confusing me! I think i am going to have to buy a month's worth of vitamins from celebrate because crushing the non chewable ones is living hell! I need some serious advice because it is soo hard for me to drink or consume anything!
  2. I've been sleeved as of 2/14/12! Happy Valentine's Day to me!!

  3. My valentine's day present was my sleeve! I am so excited! What was it like the first couple of days home from the hospital! I find i hard to drink the shakes it takes me longer than 2 hrs for one! I am trying to find more energy and walk around so I don't develop blood clots!

My Doc Wants To Band Me......

Same here! I just think that's what they think! Double banding seems to be a bit excessive in my opinion but then again i am not certified in bariatrics or any other medical field lol!!

My Doc Wants To Band Me......

I think because gastric sleeve is seen as a pre-liminary surgery. Once you have lost enough weight the next step would be gastric bypass surgery to help loose the 20-50% of excess weight that you didn't loose with the sleeve. So I am guessing he sees the band as a more safe and efficient way to get the rest of the weight off!
  6. ...is to be able to weigh myself on the house scale. I haven't been able to weigh myself at home or at the drs office in years. I now once i make it to 350 I have met a major goal of mine. I've always been a chunky girl and dressed my weight well I never focused on my weight!
