  1. I have never been married, so I offer no advice on spouses, but it seems to me that it is so helpful for sleevers to have their own forums, perhaps it would be helpful to create a forum just for spouses where they could talk to others of their own kind and express opinions, yay or nea or just confused. They could get feedback from others in similar situations and not worry about being considered un sympathetic or clueless. I have not read everything on the board yet, is there such a forum? Diva, you are a moderator, just a thought from a single pre-sleever. Robbe
  2. I did this following my hysterectomy. The syringes are pre-loaded and the needles are tiny. I injected myself in the thigh for 2 weeks. Since there is a spring, just press the plunger and it is done. The bruising was minimal, which surprised me, since it is a blood thinner. Once it is positioned, closing one's eyes and pressing the plunger could work. I like to look, except for blood draws...I can watch anyone's but my own LOL Robbie
  3. Spatters3, I am so sorry you had to go through this. I have not been sleeved yet, but I had the cancer diagnosis/hysterectomy in October. I even had the DaVinci robot!. My 6 month follow up was clean, as my cancer was also fully contained in the uterus. I just wanted you to know that the outcome can be very positive even when the diagnosis is scary. I also reiterate to any other post menopausal women, never, ever, ever ignore vaginal bleeding. I cannot say that I am no longer scared, but I am calmer than I was. Good luck to you. Please keep us updated. Robbie
  4. I am not sleeved yet, just starting the process, but this sounds wonderful. I will invest in a camera and maybe a background screen so I don't have to clean the computer room . I can learn Skype, I hope.
  5. Stephanie, I used CareCredit for some dental work a few years ago. Yes they approved my application pretty quickly, but I didn't ask them exactly what my monthly payment would be and pretty quickly discovered that no or low interest means a high monthly payment. Also CareCredit is a division of General Electric, so I think it is safe to assume they are pretty stable. Hope that helps some. Robbie
