  1. My vote is the sleeve. Less risks and great results.
  2. Wow! What a difference! Congratulations!!! I see your pics so you must have it fixed.
  3. I weighed 228 post op and day of surgery I weighed 209. Today I weigh 120. I want to lose another 10 pounds but I am not in a big rush to. My surgery date was 03/01/2012 and I have lost 108 pounds total.
  4. I confess that I need to tone and rebuild muscle but I have been to lazy lately. I confess that at 120 pounds I still see a fat girl in the mirror. I confess that I really need a tummy tuck and boob job. :-(
  5. I have always had a high drive... I stay in overdrive now
  6. You just made my day! I have 11 pounds until I reach my goal but I am happy where I am. This will be the first New Years in 8 years that I won't be making a resolution to lose weight!
  7. I was very petite until I became pregnant at 19. I had a second daughter 17 months later without losing the baby weight. I weighed 176 when I got pregnant with my 3 child. I suffered from Dilated Cardiomyopathy after I had him and was unable to exercise or even climb stairs for 1 1/2 years. My weight climbed to 228. I am now 121. I love my sleeve.
  8. I cooked the taco meat last night so that we can have the taco cupcakes tonight.
  9. Regular cupcake pans... The French dip cupcakes, Hawaiian BBQ cupcakes, and the breakfast hash brown cupcakes are phenomenal!
  10. I am not a chef. My fiancé is but he cooks very rich very fattening foods. I have looked and looked for good and easy recipes. The ones on the website emilybites.com meet all my criteria... (1) short common ingredients list (2) not time consuming (3) foods my kids, fiancé and I will eat (4) lists the nutrition facts. We have tried 4 of the recipes this week and loved all of them!!!
  11. I am 5'0" tall. My start weight was 228. Current weight 121. My goal weight is 110.
  12. I didn't have a problem with my VSG incisions but I had a similar reaction to my first c-section incision. I couldn't even look at it without feeling that way... 3 c-sections and several other surgeries later I don't bat an eye at it.
  13. Congrats on the weightloss! You are looking great! You have nothing to be shy about now!
  14. Thank you! I thank God for my sleeve everyday. It really did save my life.
  15. My start weight was 228 My current weight is 121 My goal is 110 My current pic looks ridiculous but I put on my old college clubbing dress and it fit so I was excited. Lol. This last one is how swollen my feet were every day... I have Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
  16. Start.... Weight 228 Height 5'0" Clothing size 18/20 Shoe size 8 Current Weight 121 Height 5'0" Clothing size 4 Shoe size 7 Goal Weight 110 Height 5'0" Clothing size 0 or 2
  17. I was sleeved by Dr. Almanza on 03/01/12. My start weight was 228 and my current weight is 121. My personal goal is 110 but I am not rushing the last 11 pounds bc my skin has done much better than expected. I want a mommy makeover but I need a financial miracle first.
  18. I stalled hard at 6 months. I am not almost 10 months out and the losing is slow but I only have 11 more to reach goal. Mix up your calorie count daily or every few days and mix up your exercise routine. For example, drop calories to 1/2 of what your daily average is for two or three days each week... Same way with exercise but you can change type or amount. Increase water intake - that always helps me.
  19. I am freezing! :-/
