It'll take some time to get to the point of being able to get all your Protein. I am four weeks out and today is the very first time I got all 80g of Protein in.
I mixed a 40g New whey protein shot with crystal light and 20 oz of Water. It took a while to finish. Later I had a can of Pure Protein brand for the other 35g. I had a couple slices of thin sliced deli turkey and a sf Fudgesicle. Ta-Da!!!
I hope I can do that everyday, it's still cheaper that dining out.

I just got some sugar free Fudgesicles. They taste good and have few more calories than a regular sf Popsicle but there's two grams of Protein in each one.
Hey, I'll sneak Protein any way I can.

I had egg salad yesterday. After two weeks of liquids I never thought anything could taste so good. It took about 30 minutes to eat, but I was satisfied for hours. I'm looking forward to yoghurt and deli meat slices today. It's funny how these once very common foods are suddenly so marvelous. Bon Appetit!

Im so sorry for your loss of your daughter coupled with congratulations on the birth of your son. You deserve much for credit for the stressors in your life. Given your circumstances it's natural that you're a little off course now. Just imagine words of comfort and praise you would say to your best friend - then say them to yourself Maybe make some small changes to get you back on track (vitamins, Water, etc..) the basics.
There are lots of folks out here to support you. Take gentle care of yourself and you will naturally ease back into healthy choices for your body and soul. Many blessings are coming your way.

I'm a over-worked single mom who has battled weight for my whole life. Four years ago I had LapBand. I wanted the sleeve, but was told it was unavailable. I have been completely dissatisified with the band. It interferes with much of the daily life activities and work demands for me. I hate it. Sad but true, the band doesn't work for everyone. I gave it a good try, but I'm going for a revision to sleeve at almost the exact same weight as I was when I got the band. I know that the sleeve is not a cure-all, but I have my eyes wide open and I'm more positvive than I ever was with the band.
Every person is different and every story is unique. Search your heart, talk to your family, go to classes and read everything on this site. You will find what's right for you and maybe you'll be a thin mentor to another, I wish you well on your journey.
