  1. Just to say not drinking the caffeine made me hungry not the other way around.
  2. Hi all, thanks for the replies and I am sorry that it took me awhile to get back. I am now 24 days post- op and I did get all my issues under control. My shoulder pain was a concern for my primary but the suregon assured me it was normal and in the past 4 days has went away ( thank goodness!) I also finally got off the bad food my primary thought it was a mix of my blood sugars ( off my meds per suregons request ) and caffeine because I drank coffee to get going in the mornings. I am eating healthy small portion proteins but I am still interested in other food I just not eating it haha. It's getting easier and I'm so happy I did this for myself.
  3. That's awesome! Congrats, I also started at 220 I can't wait to say 180! I'm 9 days post op though lol
  4. Thank you all so much. I will start taking my prescription ppi and no more IBprophin. I also have just spent 15 mins looking up staples and I'm shocked I had no idea that was done to me. My process went by so fast I only met with the surgin once then again for 5 mins after I was leaving the hospital. I will no longer eat any solid foods but it will be very hard, I honestly feel like my belly rumbles in hunger and I have to eat. I have 85 lbs to loose which I felt would be no problem given my motivation before surgery, now I feel hopeless and scared that I have already ruined my sleeve.

  6. Wow thank you all so much! Who knew that there was this much support out here. 1st off, I did have extreme reflux before surgery but my surgeon asked me not to take any meds. I did however take a precious on day 3. I take IBprophin and Tylenol p.m for sleep also. I use my gas- x strips but my shoulder pain still exists. I know I'm not walking as much as I should be but I have my reasons (long story). Now that I have read all your replies I'm wondering if I already messed my new stomach up?! I have ate pasta bites, rice with beans, a few chips etc... I feel starving. I can drink my protein no problem and I drink about 5 gatorades a day. My stomach doesn't hurt and I have never heard anything about me having any staples. Am I missing something? I am very worried.
  7. Hello all, this is my first post. I am only 8 days out and already feel like I could eat anything in house. Is this normal? How do I keep from ruining my sleeve? I eat bites of everything I feed my son and have horrible back/shoulder pain. How do I stop from feeling so hungry and eating?
