  5. Really giving a lot to think about. I love it. I will do this. Today is a much better day but reading these posts make it even better. Thank you!
  6. Sammi25 this was for you. Just figuring out how to use my phone app sorry!
  7. You are very right. Isn't funny how sometimes you just need to hear it from someone else to snap outta it. Thank you for your reply
  8. My surgeon is the one that suggest I always have a Gatorade in my hand. I only drink 1-2 a day and he said this wasn't good enough. I drink Powerade zero most of the time but I wonder why this is different for me? I thought it was a surgery thing??!
  9. Hi all, I know I don't post on here as much as I would like but I do read posts almost daily. Many of you don't even know how much help you have been through my journey. I find it difficult to post replies without over thinking about saying the wrong thing. I will reach my 7 month post op date on the 21st of this month and have been at so many stalls lastings for 3 weeks plus lately. I started my journey at 220, my goal is 120 and I am currently at 162. I do my fitness pal and have begun obsessing at how much more I am eating than others and beating myself up about not being at 150 to the point of tears. My daily powerades and Gatorades make my carbs high but when I do the math over and over again I start to get frustrated because I feel like I barely eat but yet there it is in black and white alllll my calories for the day. Ugh. Today is my 2nd day going back to only liquids for the 5 day pouch test but I took bites of my sons meals both times I cooked supper so I obviously have no control so my goal is to keep on all liquids until I can truly say I did my FULL 2 days. I think I mostly am just wanting to share/vent or even update but I could use any advice you wonderful friends could give right now
  10. This is great to read. I have been at a stall for over 2 months but this past week I have noticed my lbs staying off not just bouncing up the next day. Thank you for the hope I needed!
  11. I'm so bad with this app on my phone, I know there is quite of few of you that mentioned a section that has usernames to add friends to myfitnesspal app but I can't seem to locate it :-/ add me if you have an account if you want to be friends AmyG303

  13. I know exactly how you feel. When I was about 4-6 weeks post op I was able to eat almost anything I wanted ( still can ) and felt the huge guilt hanging over me every time I got on the scale and didn't see it move. I felt like I was the only 1 on this site that wasn't going to loose any weight and that my attraction to food was much stronger than I had realized. I finally got off my ass and joined a gym. I did 1 hour of Zumba 4-5 days a week and started lossing but slow, I am currently at another stall :/ Buuuuut... My point, I did lose. I am 46 lbs down and 5 months out. I'm not like all the other huge weight losers I see that make me feel slightly sad but I AM lossing. When I eat crappy food it shows on the scale, when I don't make it to the gym it shows. That being said for me it's about the good days and not the bad. I make mistakes, learn from them and mess up again sometimes, that's life. I am a work in progress, I didn't get heavy over night so I'm not going to get thin that easy either. Don't beat your self up, just reach out and know you are not alone!!! Write me anytime
