  1. I am 2 months post-op and I'm wondering when did people start to test out soda? I know every Dr is different so some may not allow any at all, but my Dr. allows diet sodas in moderation if you can tolerate them. If there are any "Sleevers" out there that are drinking soda when did you start drinking them? Also if there are anyone out there that are eating protein bars how many months post op did you start experimenting with them and what kind do you recommend if you eat them on the regular?

    Question About Soft Foods

Afternoon all, I wanted to tag a question to this post instead of starting a new thread with the same topic name. (Hope ya'll dont mind) I'm in the full liquids/soft food phase of my diet and wanted to know if any of you guys are eating noodles? I figured they would be OK in this phase (minus the juice) as they are soft and easy to digest. Also has anyone tried french fries? I'm getting burned out pretty quick on mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes and wondered if anyone baked fries and had those instead of mashed potatoes to get a texture difference on your pallet?
  3. I'm a week and half post op and I'm having the problem of not feeling "Full". I'm following my Dr's. plan of drinking a bottle of water (8oz) every 2hrs from 8am-8pm. (Extending the gap to 3hrs the last 3hrs) I'm now on full liquids/soft foods (mashed potatoes, pudding etc.) and I'm still having issues of not feeling full. I actually tried mashed potatoes for the first time today and stopped after about 5-6 spoonfuls. I still didn't get the full sensation, but stopped because I became nauseated. I'm assuming I was eating too fast as I have eaten a spoonful or two more as I'm typing this entry with no problems. Is anyone else having this issue?
