  1. I decided against a sleeve revision as the sleeve wasn't addressing the actual problem. After a few years of trial and error I worked it out and solved my life long problem. I will be shortly launching My Simple Steps to Health as I have managed to lose 65 kgs by myself eating loads of food and feeling happy, calm and it's changed my life. Should be launching in April and I am more than happy to help everyone who signs up from Bariatric Pal for a heavily discounted amount. Thanks and look forward to helping you. Emma
  2. I had my surgery about 6 years ago and went from 125kg to 85kg and dieted off after that down to 71kg then I managed to stretch the pouch area as no one warned me about carbonated drinks and now I am back to just over 100kg and rising! Has anyone had a revised sleeve surgery yet and if so please let me know how it went and any other helpful info.! Thanks Emma
  3. I was sleeved back in August 2009 and lost a total of 50 kilos by June 2010 and have since gained and lost several times 6 kilos more. I'm on the up at the moment, and struggling. I didn't realise that once you had started to drink gassy drinks again that it stretches the stomach which cannot then be reversed. I am able to eat huge quantities, most of the time, and graze all day long mainly because I seem to crash a lot! Any suggestions what to do to get me back on the straight and narrow. I never did do any exercise and I won't kid myself that I will, so that isn't a suggestion, but I still have another 30 kilos to lose and so desperately want to. Any supplements, drinks, shakes or anything in the UK that anyone can recommend, or systems that work? Desperate! Emma
  4. I have never been sick, the only thing I can't eat is Turkey I've tried it 3 times to see if its the culprit and I have to make myself sick after eating it. Apart from that, never had heartburn again, nor rejected any food
  5. I had it done in Israel, the operation was a success, and they did warn me at the time to eat small amounts and never push it, but did I listen????? only got myself to blame......so be warned all you fellow sleevers
  6. I try to count calories and at the beginning I was eating around 500-700 per day. Now I'm trying hard to stick to 1200 per day but finding it hard, and keep binging, I managed to eat over 20 minutes yesterday 8 large chocolate biscuits and after work 2 bags of crisps one after the other and it doesn't effect my sleeve in any way. I will try the yoghurt test but I was told by the surgeon that you can bulge your sleeve which I think is what has happened with me. So all you sleevers beware! don't do it! Not after what we've put ourselves through (((
  7. oh, and I still have nearly 4 stone to loose to boot!
  8. Hi, I was sleeved in Israel in August 2009 and lost 49 kilos or 107.80lbs (7 stone 7 pounds) in the first year, the first 5 stone fell off me, then I had to diet like crazy to get the other 2 and a half stone off but now I'm just putting on weight rapidly. The dietician at the time did tell me strictly, never ever ever eat more than half a cup of food, ever! but did I listen, no! typical rebellious me, I stuffed and have now stretched my stomach and can eat huge portions again, and i'm eating little and very often, can't diet, can't seem to go back to small portions, complete mess, and now what do I do? Thinking of doing hypnotic banding, anyone tried it? I saw an article in the paper today a women lost loads of weight doing it, but that could just be advertising, don't want to waste money if it doesn't work.. I continually crave carbs, bad food, as before the op, and if I do get through one whole day of eating healthily I ruin it by the next afternoon. Now considering going back to do a revision op, but scared of the outcome, bursting the stomache etc.... Any advise? Emma
