  2. I eat chobani plain non fat yogurt and put in a few squirts of Mio Mango Peach flavor enhancer.
  3. I was sleeved June 6th. Yes, I still get that taste after chewing the vitamins. I'm currently looking for another Vitamin.
  4. The vitamins caused me to have the metallic taste in my mouth. I brush my teeth and tongue after eating them. If I don't, everything I eat or drink after the vitamins will taste like metal.

  6. I am 6 days post-op and I'm feeling really good! Surgery was on June 6th and lasted about an hour and a half. I was in recovery for about two hours. I experienced my worst pain at that point. They quickly rolled me to my room and got the pain meds started in my IV. I was still out of it for several hours. My lips were very chapped and my mouth was very drive. Thank goodness I had Chapstick and the nurses provided the sponge sticks for my mouth. Later in the day, I was taken to radiology for the leak test. No leaks! I could finally have ice chips and broth. I was able to get up and walk soon after. I was feeling really good on the morning after surgery, so much so that I felt I could go home. The gas got really bad later in the day, so I decided to stay one more night. I took pain meds on post op day 2 for the ride home, but I haven't taken any since. It's been really tough getting all of the liquids in. I can't stand the taste of the calcium or multivitamin. The taste of those really change the taste of water, broth, etc. I've since learned to brush my teeth and tongue after chewing those so that I won't have that weird after taste in my mouth. For a day or two, I was not able to enjoy plain water because of that weird taste. My doctor's plan allows me to start puréed foods today and I am really looking forward to that change.
