Thick doesn't bother me, I like it! and I have been eating the heck out of chiobani champions honey-nana greek yougurt and the Okinos honey or vanilla...DEF not the plain it wasn't good...maybe used in food instead of sour cream but not alone! I've only tried the Jillian Michael whey chocolate powder but whatever you do DONT put it in hot coco...it just clumps! LOL
Now that I know I'm approved I am gonna invest in some of the better whey powders like Isopure or bariatric atvantage and try those out. The world according to eggface blog has tons of recipes for "bites" meals and this site is awesome for info!

In my social group, I'm the "afternoon cocktail girl". Seriously, moderation is key for me. There is no reason to not indulge in alcohol unless you are worried about transfer addiction issues. Plus, I didn't drink during my losing stage because our livers are working double time and throwing alcohol on top of everything else it's processing is pretty unfair to task my liver even more.
I'm a party girl at heart. I love the bar/club scene, and refused to give it up just because I had my guts altered. Plus, dancing on tabletops is much safer at 130lbs than it is at 270lbs LOL ! ! !

SEE!! That is the VERY reason that I have chosen not to tell anyone (except husband) about the surgery!
People that do not research about it are SO IGNORANT about the surgery and really PISS ME THE $(&$ off!
I would like to punch people in the face too!! LOL

I've lost over 120 lbs. before and found myself now with all but 15 regained. I hate being fat and I will do anything to give myself the best chance to lose it and keep it off for good!

Sorry, I tried this and failed REPEATEDLY, without something to PHYSICALLY restrict me I could NOT lose and maintain the loss. I do not have the will power and food is too cheap and easy to get. It is MY fault that I was fat, but there was just not enough willpower for me to overcome it.

On reflection of this question I also had the thought the YES, that SHOULD be the answer for nearly EVERYTHING - but it's NOT. Some examples I thought of:

AIDS should be GONE by now if people would restrain themselves and NOT have unprotected sex. They can't control themselves and the infection spreads. SMOKING should not an issue, after all people should just THINK that they are NOT addicted and stop smoking. Same as DRINKING, just ACT sober! We humans are a miserable lot, we just over do EVERYTHING and have the pay the price, in the case of over easting it's obesity with health issues and a limited life. I'd rather have the REAL surgery and KNOW it works.
