Ruby - I am also having trouble eating what the diet says to eat. I make something,, then I can't eat it - cause it's gross, I blended some vegetable soup, smelled o.k., yet gross, threw it out., I then tried potato soup, smelled o.k., yep still gross, I got a few spoofuls in. Even my protien drinks taste like sh#@. I liked them before. What is going on? Everything I taste is yucky. I can't start mushes till Tues. Cate54 - I hope you feel better soon. Are you taking pain meds from the doc? Maybe they are making you sick?

How Bizarre? Me and DH went to Red Lobster Thursday after my pre-op. I'm using my daughter's lap top right now. I hate it. I can only type with one finger. My children gave me roses and a get well card. It is musical. Julie Andrews singing a spoon full of suger. I love it!

Going back to bed, night all, my pain meds. are kicking in.

Chim and everyone up for tomorrow, it was a breeze at the hospital today. Everyone was so nice, the doc put the mask on my face and I don't remember anything else. I am sore now, I'm taking my pain meds. Lynette - Did you do a disk cleanup on your computer? You have to do it every so often.

Hi Everyone, I'm back, I just got home. I'm going lay down, I really sore, and things are a little blurry. It may be the patch behind my ear. My throat is sore.

Dini - The doc says it her tore ...... it can't be fixed. If he tore the ......, then it can be scoped. Or if he didn't tear anything it may just need time to heal. He said he could drain it with a needle to relieve the pressure, thus relieving some pain. We said nannn, we'll pass on that.

Hi everyone, Me and DH just got back from the ortho. Doc said since it's swollen he probably tore something. He needs to get a MRI, but not tomorrow, I'm busy. While we were waiting for the doctor, DH says, "I shouldn't have played yesterday, my back was still hurting." I'm thinking, YA THINK!! DUH!! I guess the kids can help us recover, thank goodness it's summer. I'm cooking a big ol pot of red beans the family can eat for a few days. Ya think I can put red beans in the blender for my mushy stage? Dini - Girl, You're Gorgeous!!!!! You have hair like my daughter. Her's is a little lighter. For Halloween she died it black, it was supposed to wash out, but it didn't. It actually stayed black longer than the permanant blacks. They fade to reddish. I used to dye my DH's cause he's going gray. I gave up. It was too hard to keep up with.

I sure hope I can get out of bed by myself because he'll be no help. I feel guilty saying it, but I'm Pissed. This is supposed to be my time. His back was already hurting, he had no business playing. I had plans for today, now he's screwed everything up.Between him and my Mom wanted something every 5 minutes recovery should be just fine. Sarcasm O.K. I'm done B@&ing for now.

Hello everyone, Jeanie mentioned this thread is her new obession. Mine too. I don't post a lot, but I have to check a minimum of 4 times a day. I kept checking yesterday waiting for Aunty Phyl to come back. Aunty Phyl, when you posted yesterday I was so happy!! Aunty Phly's back the same day. YEAH.!!!!! :clap2:Thanks so much, I'm am still getting scared sometimes, but I can do this. When I went to my pre-op at the surgery center everyone was soooo nice, I know I'll be fine. Sunny - My Mom is also with me, for the past 5 months now. All I can say is it ain't easy. In the words of one of our school psychologists I come from a FUFF. F......ed Up Family. Jackie - Your pre-op diet sounds like a nightmare. Thank God I didn't have to do that. My is like: 4 optifast drinks per day, dinner 3oz lean meat, and 1/2 cup veg. and thats only the worst day.

Wrangler - Glad all went well, congrats. Ms. Pris - I'm so sorry, but I also believe things happen for a reason. This mishap could have saved you from something. God only knows.
