Hi Everybody, I just got back to work from my 3rd fill. First she pulled all the previous fills out into the needle, I guess checking to see if it was there. Then she put in 1.5. So I have 5.5. I haven't lost anything in the 2 weeks since the last fill. I drank when we went camping this weekend, but we hiked a lot and biked so I thought I was working it off. I'm trying to drink coffee, and I am continually belching. It feels like somethings stuck in my throat. Does the belching and this feeling go away? It ain't pleasant. One other thing - I'm starting to get a little nervous about the amount of hair coming out everytime I brush. I used to rarely have to clean out my hair brush now I'm doing it daily.

Everyone the pictures look fantastic. Everyone is changing!!!! My son deleted my picture on the day before surgery, but they took one at the docs. I guess I could get a copy. Phyl - I can see a difference. You look smaller all over. Distant - When I saw your picture, my first thought was Hey Who brought the skinny chick? I'm leaving to go camping now. I'm taking off work tomorrow. It has been raining all day. Pouring, on and off. I hope it clears by the time we get there, or I guess we sleep in the new truck. Lynette - He's adorable!!!!! TTFN

OMG- Cazulay and Jackie you can definitely tell. WOW!!! Linday - Congrats!!!!! Tucking in a shirt, I can't even remember what that's like. I do remember when I went out in the 80's, if I had to go to the restroom I had to take off all my rings to tuck my shirt back in cause my jeans were skin so tight. Everybody's jeans were skin tight. We layed down to zip them, and we were smokin hot. AHHHH memories.

Indigo - Great Job with the exercise, you go girl!!! Lynette- We're the exact same weight. NewCC - I can't stop thinking about your friend's family. I'm am so so sorry for them. I am praying for God to be with them, and give them strength. Phyl - I also said a prayer for your son. How ya doing with the fill? I ate a piece of meat too fast, it hurt like hell for about 4 mins. That's really the first time I felt something like that. The nurse said I can go for another fill 10/22. I haven't tried bread. I still can eat too much, and get hungry too soon. I would like to eat 1/2 cup at each meal with satisfaction for a min. of 4hrs. Sound reasonable?

Phyl- It was a rainy day here too, and the Saints lost again. They haven't won a game yet. I don't know what the hell happened to them. I go for my second fill tomorrow. I hope it helps a lot. Christina - clear liquid only 2 hours before fill

Indio - That's a great idea. I'll just pretend to eat it and say Yum. After my fill next week, I will say I can no longer eat it without getting sick. Hopefully, it will be true.

Lynette - Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been in a secret race with you because we were both were so close. You win!!!! I have not been eating properly. I'm not gaining weight, but basically I'm just maintaining. I just placed IndioGirl on my shoulder. Hopefully, it works. I think my secretary is trying to sabotage me. She got donuts yesterday and today. I said no today. She said, "Oh, I just got these hot donuts and you're gonna eat em." I ate one. 160 cals.

Congratulations Ruby, still no restriction for me. Some day I'll find my spot, some day I'll have restriction and how thrilling that moment will be, when restriction finally comes to me. Can you tell I'm bored? My secretary and I, are talking about how we are going to cook our shrimp tonight. I have 50lbs. I gave her some. I'm going home today to peel my shrimp.

Dagnabbit I was typing and I lost it!! Kathy - Loved the picture, beautiful family Jackie - Congrats, we were never uncomfortable next to you....too sweet! Sue Magoo to Dr. - If starving myself was easy or pleasant why would I have done this to myself? Fill it or I stay here until you do. Congrats to all Losers!!! Seems like I'm not losing on the scale, but I can feel a difference. Tight jeans now come on and off without unzipping.

Lynette - Bummer, sorry about the money. I forgot about the telling people thing - I too wish I had not told anyone at work. I told my principal, my secretary, and the front office secretary. So Friday, I'm sitting in my office and a teacher is sitting with me. She proceeds to ask me a question about my band and eating. I was taken off guard. What the hell? I didn't tell her. Once you tell 1 person it ain't a secret no more. I guess everyone knows now. I wished I kept my fat mouth shut!

CeCe - Fantastic!! I can't wait till my clothes fall off. Congrats to all the big losers. Things are going very slow for me. The fill lady said I could come in again in 2wks, but she would only put half of what she'd put at 4wks so it's really a wasted trip. My doctor rules after fill was 1 and 1/2 days on liquids then back to normal. 3 meals a day no snacks. I feel like I have no restriction because I can eat anything including steak and bread but the band is making some difference because I am definitely eating a lot less than I used to. We went to a steak place and I had one roll, a few bites of salad, a few bites of the potato and a few bites of the steak. Pre band I would have had: 2 to 3 rolls, most of the salad, most of the steak, and some potato. NewCC - Who is Sydney?

GO RUBY!!!!!!!! Shake dat grove thing!!! My first fill has done naught. I get upset thinking I have to wait 4 weeks for another, and the 2nd will still probably leave me unrestricted. I didn't think it would be such a long process. 800 calories a day is very hard with no restriction.

I got my first fill. The numbing shot and the fill took less than a minute. When I got there, the nurse asked if I brought the card I was given at the hospital stating what size band I have. The hospital didn't give me anything. She had two needles, one big 4cc and one small 2cc. They had to call the hospital. She gave me 2cc and said the band is 10cc. I'm not allowed to eat yet, I hope I feel something. I'm thinking I won't.

Marcy - That's so romantic!!!!! Ribearty - Praying for your nephew Phyl - It's 2:35, I'm having detention right now. My fills at 5:15. I hope it works!! I haven't lost anything in at least a week. Just maintaining. Hey if we go on a cruise to Alaska, can we please stop at Marcy's so she can teach us to slaughter? And if my hubby goes maybe Marcy's husband can give him a talking to.

Phyl - I have changed my mind about looking at it as a good reason. It's scene time. I would demand a fill. I'd show up and tell them get it done or I'm gonna throw a fit up in here. I ain't waiting no 2 months. AWWWWW Hell NO!!!! What triggers my eating? It's food. I see it, I want it. Everyone else is eating. Why I gotta be the fat one? Why did I decide to band? Cause I'm tired of being the fat one. I was gonna get a breast reduction this summer. A friend who has enormous bazonkas like me got one. Now you can really see how fat she is. I figured why do that when I'll still be fat. At least now I hide behind the bazonkas. Plus my daughter is getting older. I will not stuff this package in a size 24 or above mother of the bride dress.

Phyl - Sorry you have to wait, but lets look at this from "things happen for a reason." If they are having trouble not using flouro that could mean they have been sticking people's bands. My fill is Tues. and I don't know if they use flouro, but I have been obsessing. I think.... if they don't use it and they stick my band, then it's ruined. Who pays to fix it? Cause I paid cash. The nurse does the fills at my office. I know it sucks to wait but at least it gonna be done right. I don't know if anyone else had this experience with their doctor. I saw mine at the initial lapband conference. Then I saw him at my preop. and that's it. I will probably never see him again. I didn't see him on surgery day. I was last. He didn't even tell my husband I was done. And he doesn't do fills. Take the money and Run!

Hey Citygirl - I was banded 7/24. The ends of my port incision took a long time to heal. It had scabs and then white threads popped out on each end. I pulled out the threads with a tweezer. It was two about 3/4 of an inch long. Then it finally healed. I read that the inside stiches coming out is common, they are supposed to dissolve.

Hello Everyone, We went camping this weekend. Shannon - My 1st fill is the 10th. I have been HUNGRY all the time for at least a week now. I have zero restriction. I am pretty sure I could eat anything including a small horse. I go to bed every night hungry. I'm hungry now.
