I took a copy of the letter to Charlene yesterday because I didn't want to wait for her to receive one. She said she will give it to Dr. Miller and I should be hearing from them soon about a date. I've been looking forward to this for well over a year and now I'm nervous. :blushing:

Morning everyone! I finally have something good to share. After calling Charlene every day last week and leaving messages (she must have been on vacation???:confused2:) she called yesterday and said she was submiting my paper work to insurance. Now we wait AGAIN!!!!!!!!! ndwife~ so happy you are home and doing well. Niki, Sarah, Sue and SpecialK~ you girls are doing awesome. Do you remember what it took to lose 30lbs before surgery?? Hi Greg, DebbieK, LadyQT, KTBugg, Lyn and any one I missed.:thumbup: Have a blessed day everyone!

ndwife~you are in my prayers for a fast recovery! K~ I wanted RNY from the start, but my surgeon from Barix refused to do it because I had a history of cancer. I prayed about it before my consult with Dr. Miller. He said he didn't see any problems with me having either surgery, that it was up to me. So..... thats how I come to "switch procedures" mid-stream. I know this is the right move for me. Lyn~ good luck!

KTBugg~ it was so nice talking with you today. You are such a sweet and beautiful young lady. OK friends, I have made a change in my plans...... I have decided to go with RNY instead of the band. I have a ton of reasons why, and I know that this is the best choice for me. I talked with Dr. Miller about it when I had my consult and I'm very comfortable with this choice. I hope this doesn't knock me out of the group..... I have grown to love you guys.

I got a message from Charlene yesterday that said she still has not recieved my cardio clearance!!!!!!!! I called Dr. Beavers office and asked to speak with Kelly (his nurse) the MA said she was out of the office but would give me her voice mail AGAIN. I told her I didn't want a voice mail, I wanted to resolve this situation NOW. I explained to her that I had my appt ONE MONTH AGO, and I know for a fact the results have been in for 2 weeks, but for some unknown reason they are not being faxed to Charlene. She put me on hold to look for my chart. She found it ON KELLYS DESK and faxed it right then..... she said to call Charlene and see if she received it, but of course VOICE MAIL at Charlenes office!!!! So..... I am gonna call Charlene first thing Monday and see if its there....if not, I am taking a trip to Hilliard to hand carry it. AAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Why are people so unconcerned when its not about them??? :biggrin: :rolleyes2:

NIki~ nothing yet :crying:. Who would have thought it would take 6 weeks for a cardio clearance?? I know I've not been praying for patience :confused2:.

Hey Niki~ thanks for the prayers, Lord knows I can always use those.... I met with Dr. Miller on Tue. He is so nice. I'm just waiting on that cardio report. I know they are tired of hearing my voice everyday, but it's been 3 weeks ago today that I had the echo, and I know it doesn't take that long to get a report back!!! That clearance is the only thing holding up my submiting to insurance. ARRRGGGGG!!!

So glad to hear you got insurance approval ndwife. Not long now! Congrats Joy!! Your just a few days away from a brand new you.

Thanks Heather! Carol, I have family there too, but we are going for a church thing. I think its gonna be so much fun.....just not long enough. We are coming back Sunday morning :-(

Hey Sue! I'm still here, just super busy this week. Grandbabies birthday party on Saturday, a special guest speaker at church Sunday, and we are heading to Lakeland Fl. in the morning. I have been like a mad woman trying to get things done around the house (I love coming home to a clean house) If we could go away more my house might be clean more often :sad:. I see Dr. Miller on Tue. YEAH! I am still waiting for results from my echo. I spoke with Dr. Beavers nurse yesterday and she said they haven't even been looked at yet!!!! It was 2 weeks ago today!!! I told her I needed this for a clearance for surgery and these results are my hold up. She promised to return my call by this morning... guess what morning is now over and still NO CALL :biggrin:. I give them till 1pm and then ITS ON!!! (I'm not really sure what "it" is, but it sounds good LOL:tongue:) I have been keeping up with everyones posts....WOOOHOOO for fills and restriction. Greg~ I am keeping you in my prayers.... its so hard to just sit and watch others eat :thumbup: especially at Geniji!!
