  10. You can start doing some type of physical activity like walking to speed up your weights loss At least 30 minutes a day. You can start practicing eating healthy snacks. You can do it slowly as you get use to it. Also do some research on protein shakes, you might like something else after surgery because for some people the tastes buds changed, but it won't hurt to start from now. Congrats!! My birthday is on July!! Great month to get sleeve yay!
  11. Wow you sure rocking that sleeve I love your outfit and your shoes, you look hot!!! Congrats!!
  12. I think if you chew it well, you can. But the problem with the hotdogs or sausages is that they are really high in fat and at this stage it might not be good for your sleeve. But you can try and see for your own. I am 3 months post op and I don't eat any type of sausages or hotdogs yet my NUT only suggested me lean meats, soft chicken, turkey, sirloin, tuna, canned chicken, deli meats etc.
  13. The first 3 days are not easy!!! Congrats on survived day 1 After day 3 your body will start adjusting to the diet. I remember it was really hard for me at first!! Congrats!!
  14. How far are you from surgery? I only experienced nauseas for the first 2-3 weeks. Later on improved . I was on Zofran for my nauseas.
  15. Wow you are doing amazing!!! I started jogging a few weeks ago,so now I am jogging 3 times or so per week for 1 hour. I go the gym and I do weights leg press etc. And abs, squats . I do the elliptical for about 60 minutes and sometimes the treadmill for about 35. Stationary bike sometimes for 20. On Sundays I started going hiking with my family. 20. Thanks for the encouragement always lady. You TRULY ROCK!!!
  21. What did they told you at your bariatric clinic? Protein is something very important for us bariatric patients . You are not going to work out now because you just got sleeved but eventually you will start your own work out routine. Everybody that had surgery is been drinking protein shakes etc even before working out and I haven't hear about any problems. At least I haven't had any problems with my kidneys so I will say go by your surgeon instructions and forget about your friend lol You need that protein!!
  22. wow at only 5 days? Amazing!!!
