I'm a 44-year old attorney from Orlando, Florida. I was sleeved on November 28, 2011.

I've been heavy off and on since I was in college. I really packed on the pounds during and after law school (since 2003). I was over 250 lbs. with a BMI of 42. I was on cholesterol and blood pressure medications, and I've been on thyroid medications for 20 years.

I'm already off the B.P. and cholesterol meds at two months post-op, waiting on my thyroid test results. My new goal is to become more active, get down to a healthy weight and to keep it off for the rest of my life.

My life is full of stress and I am doing this before I have a heart attack or stroke, before I get diabetes - before it's too late.
