  5. My husband is also a minister. That is funny.
  6. I just call it how I see it. When I see you that is the first thing that comes to mind. You have a beutiful spirit!!!
  7. I couldn't drink it. I refuse to drink anything that taste that bad. It was horrible. I haven't tasted anything worse. I couldn't finish 1/4 of the bottle. I had some bottles that I didn't open. I took them back to the store and the cashier even said it tasted bad.lol So, no it's not just you.
  8. OMG!!!!!! I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. 204, 203, 205, 202, 203 GIVE ME 199.0 DANG IT!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK ABOUT THIS. THEN WHAT DO YOU KNOW HERE COMES AUNT FLOW. GIVE ME A BREAK!~!!! :mad5:
  9. I have been feeling kind of down about my progress. I was sleeved on Dec. 5 and have only lost 23 lbs. I am eating reg. foods but limited amts. I still drink 1-2 protein drinks a day. I hardly ever get 64 oz. of water in a day.(This has been difficult for me to do.) I am greatful for what I have lost so far but when I see people who have lost 30 to 40 lbs. in the same time frame, I realize that my wt. loss is slow. I can't seem to get below 200lbs. I have increased my excercise level this week, and paying closer attention to what I am eating. Any ideas?
  10. Yes----I went back to work in exactly one week. I was also walking on the treadmill for short periods at a time. I did rest as much as I could on those days off. I explained to my family how important it was for everybody to help out, due to my low energy by the end of the day. I am 8 weeks out now and my energy level has increased. I have not missed one day of work due to illness from the procedure. Make sure you take your vitamins and get your fluid and protein in. I drank warm decaf tea through out the day because it went down easier. Just listen to your body and rest when you can.
  11. If you haven't been in her shoes then you wouldn't understand. Just try and be supportive, and be there for her--- We all have issues to deal with hers may be food/lack of excercise. You may have something else to deal with like your high cholesterol. You are just mentioning negatives. Try to list some positives. I would also stop comparing her to your ex-girlfriend not cool!!! Quit thinking something bad will happen and think of the good that could come from this. Sorry if you are offended. I just understand how she feels to have the one you love constantly in your ear about what could happen. She is not choosing the surgery over you. She is choosing life!!! Let Go and Let God!!!

  13. Wow!!! Amazing!!! I can defintely see the wt. loss. Congrats!!!
  14. I experienced the same thing. I am now having the opposite happening now. I think the loose stools are due to all of the clear liquids and your body adusting to the change from the surgery. I would rather have things pass through than the other alternative, because I feel that when I don't go like I should it hinders my wt. loss.
  15. I love your positive spirit. To God be the Glory!!!
