Actually I'm a state employee I don't get nothing, as a matter of fact our insurance just went up. Even if I qualify for medicaid I don't think they would have pay for it since I'm not morbidly obese and no co-morditiy.

Now that everything is on track with financing the sleeve I'm begining to have doubts about the surgery is it normal? I'm thinking about what if I went through all that and don't lose the weight or what if I gained it back. I'm also wondering how am I gonna feel when I go out with family or friends and everybody is eating there foods and enjoying it and there I am eating a bite or 2 and get full. It's too bad I don't think dr Almanza offer counseling but I don't know if I'm mentally prepared for this drastic change. Did any of you had this kind of thoughts before or after the surgery?

Dr Almanza price is the same as your doctor, thank you for sharing I haven't pick another date yet but I will try to get it done before I go back to school on the 22nd of next month. I agree with you about not telling anyone nobody knows I'm getting it done too except my husband. They will be surprise once I start slimming down. Some will think that I'm sick and some will say oh no she's starting another diet again. Good luck with everything.

I applied for the loan with surgeryloans.com today and was approved for most of the money I needed for the sleeve the remainder I can take care of it. I'm so happy about that but, what's killing me is the interest rate. I'm thinking maybe I should get the money get my sleeve done and pay it off before the 3 years term since there's no penalty for paying off early. My second is issue is I called Louise back to see if I can get my spot back it's already taken, now I have to wait until the 2nd week of August she said the office is close from the 5th to the 7th. I'm thinking about going to Dr Alvarez Guillermo has anyone use him? if so please let me know I heard good stuff about him but I need to do more research on him. I'm trying to get this done before I go back to school on the 22nd just so I can have a few weeks to recover.

Hi there, sorry to hear of your stress over financing. I got my loan through MyMedicalLoan and have not had any problems. I am scheduled for August 2nd and my doctor is in Mexico too. I need help please I thought I had everything plan for july 30th when I called Louise with my deposit last week for dr Almanza. I was so happy I was gonna get this done on my summer break. I emailed Louise today with my new CareCredit card number to pay the rest of the money I got an email back that they don't accept carecredit. I only apply for carecredit after I was denied from there financing company now I don't know what to do. Because my BMI is low no doctors in the states will do it. I called Carecredit this morning they do not cover any type of weight loss surgery performed outside of the state. I found surgeryloans.com while I was googling last night has anyone use it for surgery outside of the state? If so please let me know so I can apply, if I don't get this done now I have to wait in december when school out again and I don't want to wait that long. Any input is greatly appreciated.
