I don't know what to do!

I applied for the loan with surgeryloans.com today and was approved for most of the money I needed for the sleeve the remainder I can take care of it. I'm so happy about that but, what's killing me is the interest rate. I'm thinking maybe I should get the money get my sleeve done and pay it off before the 3 years term since there's no penalty for paying off early. My second is issue is I called Louise back to see if I can get my spot back it's already taken, now I have to wait until the 2nd week of August she said the office is close from the 5th to the 7th. I'm thinking about going to Dr Alvarez Guillermo has anyone use him? if so please let me know I heard good stuff about him but I need to do more research on him. I'm trying to get this done before I go back to school on the 22nd just so I can have a few weeks to recover.

Well congrats on getting the financing period. I am sure the interest rate is killer but think if they had denied it. GAAAAH. Maybe they can fit you in if you explain your school situation or possibly maybe if they get a cancellation you can go then? I don't know anything about the other surgeon but if you have done your research on the current doctor and you really want him I would try to not change last minute.

Dr. Alvarez is a very good doctor. I even have his sleeve book. I was planning on going to him if my insurance hadn't covered my revision. He has really good videos on YouTube of all his patients and their success. He is one of the pioneers of the sleeve. Good luck!!! I would recommend trying to get it done way before school starts. It is hard to focus on getting in your fluids right after surgery and recovering. It would be especially difficult when you are dealing with the first week of school stress. I hope it all works out.

I think it's sad that those of us who have medical insurance through employers have to get a loan to have the sleeve surgery. Did you know government Medicaid pays for the sleeve for free? It's almost as if we should quit our jobs and get on public assistance in order to not go deep into debt. Do you qualify for Medicaid at all?

Actually I'm a state employee I don't get nothing, as a matter of fact our insurance just went up. Even if I qualify for medicaid I don't think they would have pay for it since I'm not morbidly obese and no co-morditiy.

I have found a few people on here to have used Dr. Alvarez. If you do a search on his name you can find them. Everyone I have talked to really liked him and was very pleased with his work and how everything went for them. When I scheduled last week, they were out in the 20's in August. There was one available on the 16 and some others inbetween, but you should email them if you wanting to get it done right away and reserve a date.
