  3. Hi, I am new to site. I am so encouraged by all the support available for those of us who are going through mutual fight against obesity. I am 40 years old and had my Gastric Band removed on yesterday, July 15th. I didn't experience a lot of weight loss, between 30-40 pounds at the most and had a hard time getting food down, along with acid reflux issues. Overall I didn't think the band was going to make a significant impact to my weightless and future so I agreed with my surgeon to have it removed. I am now leaning towards the sleeve and also thought about the bypass. I want to see results! I am tired of being overweight and all its physical limitations it brings. Can anyone shed some light on their decision to chose Gastric Sleeve over the bypass, besides it being the safest. What impacted you about getting the sleeve as your weightless choice and has anyone had a revision surgery. I would love to hear your input and advice. It's great to be on board!!
