  1. Well, as of today the 1st of June, I am now 306lbs.. I have been working with the VA Hospital in Pitttsburg to get this sleeve procedure. The first 6 weeks is to do the 6 week liquid diet with Optifast. And the other day marked the beginning of Week 2 into the diet. I am so very much craving for food now, but I know this will help prepare me for later on. My surgery date is scheduled for July 6th.. Since September of 2009 I was 385lbs, so I have lost 79lbs with the help of my wife. I have type II diabetes, high blood pressure, nerve damage, and I can't sit in a chair properly at all. I am 39. I am tired of pain, having to do blood checks, taking loads of medications, and feeling like I can't get up and go do things with the wife.
