  1. it happened 2 me 2. I didnt throw up. I just suffered thru it until the food digested. it sucked, but I eat slower now.
  2. the pure protein one has 17g. the think thin one have 23-26g depending on which one you like. hope that helps.
  3. I've decided to give the scale a break for a while. I'm focusing on improving my cardio output/endurance and improving my strength training with my trainer. I have to eat at least 1200 cal, or else my workouts suck and I feel like crap the rest of the day. I've been eating these great protein bars that have 20grams in them and low sugar. there's two kinds I like. Pure Protein chocolate peanut Carmel ( tastes almost like a snickers) and think thin bars( chunky or creamy peanut butter are my favs-but I like brownie crunch too). the bars are between 180-230cal each. I also found a good protein drink at whole foods, orgain. it's all natural and organic stuff and has 16 g of protein and 255 cals. both the bars and shakes are incorporated into my diet now to help me get 1200 cals in. I plan to weigh in at the end of next week, just to see if I'm on the right track. Meanwhile, my clothes are fitting looser, so I take that as a sign that progress being made. Hope that helps!

  5. Love it geno... Rocks rock!. Out-ten-zee with the scale.
  6. Jen - Most days I get in 800-900 calories. Most recently (this weekend) I struggled to get in 1200 calories. I literally felt like I had to eat too often and it made me really uncomforable, because I'm only supposed to have 3 meals a day. Yet I cant get in enough calories in those three meals to get me to 1200. So I have to eat more often. Not to mention that getting in Water is a pain because I shouldn't drink one hour before or after I eat. So I basically feel like I'm spending my day watching the clock thinking, can I eat now, or, can I drink now? LOL It's insane!!!
  7. Thanks for the suggestion Mr. Worm . My only concern with going no carb is that I'm working out 5-6 times a week. I'm already light headed most days I exercise due to lack of enough calories. If I cut carbs, will I be able to do any exercise?
  8. I feel ya. Congrats on losing 45 lbs...
  9. WOW a 7 month Stall! I guess I have to shut my pie hole about my 3 month stall! LOL Getting rid of that scale for a while would probably help me immensely. I'm planning to do that today! Thanks for the support and advise.
  10. New1 started following Pagie
  11. Thanks NOL for the advice and I will stay the course. Im sure you appreciate just how frustruating it is. but this too shall pass...
  12. Wheetsin - You broke it down so plainly. I got it! I'll keep working on building muscle so that It can help me get to the fat. A "calorie furnace" = fat burning machine. Just what I need. Thanks for the support and info.
  13. Thanks Around... Losing the Fat is the goal and the fact that my clotes are fitting looser, should be an indication that something is going on. I'm just so motivated by numbers on the scale. I have to reprogram my self for what successful weight loss is all about. I feel great! I'm stronger and my cardio training is improving each day. That's progress the scale cant measure...
  14. Kristina - Thanks so much for the suggestion. My workouts are actually really tough lately and I think its because of my diet (lack of calories). Its hard to get the calories in having had the mindset that I have to eat less and really cant eat that much in a setting. Who would have thought that I'd be struggling with eating more (and eating more of the right stuff). It's just nuts! I just keep remembering a quote, It's not the race, it the journey... Happy Monday everyone. Let's rock it out this week!
  15. I have not measured, but my clothes are all fitting looser. So that's a good sign right?
  16. MegInNola - Thanks so much for the advice. I will say, that I've been eating fars less, but just-start the weight loss, but maybe eating more (esp. veggies) is the ticket. Congrats on your 123 lbs. lost? I hope to be there soon, AsI think about it, I'm going to start journaling my intake more diligently and see what patterns I notice. I can already say that my Water intake is pretty suspect some days. It's just really tough to get it in. Happy Monday Folks! It's a new week! Let's rock it!
