  1. It gets better and better every clothing size down!!!
  2. I order water in a to-go cup when we place our orders. ????they usually like me because they don't have to refill my cup with soft drinks.
  3. I am glad I have chosen not to talk about my surgery. It is very personal to me. I have been told to my face others are trying to guess what has happened. They are going to talk either way. I would rather not talk to them about it. I am shocked at people's rudeness. I would NEVER flat out ask people if they had this surgery. And yes people have been loud and rude asking at my job, grocery store, gas pumps, etc. I mean LOUD. I would consider it as rude as asking someone how much they make. There are enough people who are willing to share their surgery...I don't have to and I really don't want to be open with it.
  4. Great story! I started at 282 on June 1st, 2011 and today I am at 197. The numbers are great, but the amazing thing is how much better I feel.

  8. Only my husband, kids, mother, sister, and the two people who told me about their surgeries. I like it that way. Women can be so catty and I don't really want people talking about me behind my back. I know they would!
  9. Your post is wonderful! Good luck with your knee surgery. Recovery will be so much better than it would have been 6 months ago! Woohoo!
  10. I love the picture! Congratulations!
  11. Be prepared to sleep whenever you can the first month. Rest is part of the healing. Drink pleny of water and take your vitamins faithfully. Even if you feel good, don't Ignore the lifting restriction. Ask for help- say it's the back or a pulled stomach muscle. I don't know if you are planning on telling co-workers. You are going to love the new you after healing!
  12. I am so pleased with this side effect!!! I had reached the point of having accidents and was considering surgery to correct the problem. Since my vsg surgery I no longer have to wear daily protection. Now there's a savings I haven't heard anyone else mention!
