  1. You are NOT alone! I was sleeved just over a week ago. I had a similar pain the day after too. Although I had water and a little bit of gelatin. By Day 2, I felt 100% better and by day 4 & 5 I was GREAT....now I'm at day 10, and I just told my doc I don't even feel like I had anything done! Of course the liquid diet is a frequent reminder...but I feel FANTASTIC! Best wishes....it will get progressively better but if the pain persists, talk to your doc for an upper GI to look for leaks.
  2. Way to go! I'm 5 days post op and your post has inspired me even more! Keep up the great work and great attitude! Enjoy every minute of the new "you"
  3. Hey there, I am three days post op and am feeling really, really great. Yesterday I was concerned about getting enough fluids to stay hydrated so today I worked really hard to plan my liquid intake so that I could get more fluids and more Protein in. I am easily drinking 4 oz of a Protein Drink or Water per hour and had 8 oz of protein enriched broth at lunch and dinner time. It took me 30-40 minutes to consume that much but now I'm worried......am I getting in too much at a time? I don't feel bad, have had no dumping syndrome (today) but I dont' want to have too much and cause a leak. Would love if others could let me know if that amount seems normal for 3 days post op or is it too much?
