i have BCBS National and i've completed every last detail for them to approve me: 2 three month supervised diets, 2 psych evals, nutrion consult and 2 awful sleep studies (i think that was just for my doctor). i should be hearing back by monday but by the looks on the board i don't know if anyone has been approved with them! i've seen several threads about appeals and denials; i'm starting to get nervous. anyone have any luck yet?! if you have BCBS national, please share your story! thanks! UPDATE: just got word from my surgeon's office that BCBS National is NOT accepting my 3 month diets because they happened at the same time. even though nothing like that was specified, they are still NOT accepting it. good thing i am still going to weight watchers simply for this reason guess i'll be waiting to restart my case at the end of may, bummer

so sorry to hear that i'm sure you're really upset. i wish i had some words of wisdom, all i can say is that it'll all work out in the end i have BCBS national too and this is kind of making me worried. i'm supposed to be approved by monday :/ we'll see i guess.

hi! sounds like our insurances are similiar. i chose to do 2 three month diets which included weight watchers and a dr. supervised diet. i double checked with my surgeon's office and the insurance company that they would take the book with the stickers and they would. i actually sent in the original booklet as is. i'm supposed to be approved by the 30th of this month. if something goes awry and it's not what they wanted, i'll let you know
