  1. thanks for replying so fast. I'm not worried about insurance, just whether a surgeon will do the proceedure if I am not considered obese. I certainly feel obese and really need this done, but sometimes the medical profession puts their own limit on who they believe needs proceedures. I am desperate for this to be done but worry all the time that no one will help me. Do you think I will be turned away? I am in Canada and not sure what the rules are here.
  2. I have just begun to research this proceedure. I was wondering if anyone knows if vegetarians do well with this? Also, I need to lose 40 pounds and am worried that I will be turned away because I am not actually considered "obese". I am desperate for this surgery and would appreciate any feedback.
