Surgery Date November 4th...YAY!

Can I get your recommendations for vitamins....which Iron,B12, Calcium Citrate, and Multi are best and inexpensive?

Pre-surgical meeting September 16. Medical coordinator says we will be scheduling surgery for late this month, or early next month!

Just spoke with my insurance company....I WAS APPROVED!!! Wow, never thought I would be soo emotional!

Everything is going fine...Still awaitng insurance approval. Also I need to drop 10 lbs and I am struggling with that. I am addicted to this site. I am so excited to begin this journey. Really hope I get approval soon so I can get the ball rolling

So irritated right now, wish I could take evrything into my own hands. I called my insurance company and found out that my paper work that was to be submitted on August 11 was just received August 29. And to top things off they dont have any of my clinical info, so they still need that before they can approve me. UGH!!

It's been 13 business days since i've submitted to my insurance, still no response :/

Still working on these 10 lbs i need to lose. I got on the scale thinking ive lost at least 2 or 3, but nothing. I weigh exactly the same. I guess Im not trying hard enough. UGHH. I dont want this to delay my surgery!

Did you post pics of your incisions? I saw on your blog you were going to post them. I am vrey curious to see where they will be and what they will look like.

I've been thinking of all the things I look forward too....I cant wait to be healthy, to be able to easily shave my legs, to be able to wear shorts (I dont think Ive worn shorts in about 10 years), to ride a roller coaster without worrying if I will be able to buckle the seat belt, to be able to sit in a seat at concerts football games etc. comfortably, to run a 5k marathon, to dream about how beautiful i will look in my wedding gown (like all girls do), to wear a bathing suit and feel co...

Did anyone have their surgery performed by Dr. Steele, at John Hopkins in Baltimore?

Im having such a difficult time losing the 10 lbs for surgery...It's pretty sad. Andyone have any suggestions for diets or anything.

So my surgeon says she doesnt know if the notes that my PCP documented for 6 months, are sufficient. She will be speaking to the financial coordinator to review them, and get back with me....Hopefully all is well, becuase i dont want anyhitng in my way!

So Thursday I have to attend one more support group, then I will eb done with all of my pre reqs.

Last PCP appointment tomorrow!

YEsterday went great, other then the fact that I get lost in Baltimore every time...UGHH. Psych eval went well and the support group was awesome.
